What YouTube channels do kiwifarmers watch? - Just wondering

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Lately i've been watching a channel called Swallow Channel. It's just a livestream of a Barn Swallow couple raising their chicks. It's interesting to tune into every season (Spring/Summer), and rather relaxing.
Other than that, I tune into Vinesauce. Mostly Joel, sometimes Vinny. It's usually background sounds while I do other things though.

My list the last year so has been:

Storror - British Parkour team. Don't really care too much about Parkour, I mean its cool and all. The thing I really like from them though is they've all been friends for decades and all their videos really do feel like you're just hanging out with a group of friends while they do something they enjoy.

Geowizard - This guys adventure content is great. Started with his third (?) Straight Line mission across Wales. I think my favorite of his series has been How Not To Travel America though.

Wendigoon - I just like most of his content, if you're not aware he covers a variety of shit from cryptids and conspiracies to the history of Kudzu in the South

Russ Cook - The Hardest Geezer, got introduced to him through Geo Wizard, first because he helped Geo Wizard ultra-marathon dribbling a soccer ball across England in a single night, but more recently because he ran the entire length of Africa. The series was really solid, and while Russ Cook seems like kind of like just some dumb yet likable athlete he holds some of the strangest world records in the world.

Shiey? Sheiy? - I don't remember how to spell his name, just search "Illegal Freedom" on youtube and you'll find his videos. Its mostly him usually alone but sometimes with his friends as they hop trains and illegally train surf around Europe. He has a trip in the Swiss Alps that's absolutely incredible.

Jacob Geller - He makes video essays I like. I disagree with his politics, but lately I'm finding I care less and less about politics and more about content, and his content matches the kinda style I could listen to for a few hours at work without getting bored over a variety of topics.

MadSeasonShow - Old WoW youtuber. He's recently started covering MMOs and games more broadly as he's sort of divorced himself from WoW a bit. He has a really almost analog sort of vibe to his content that I really like.

Explore With Us - Hello EWU Crew, Null has mentioned this channel numerous times on MATI and they actually do really pretty solid True Crime if you're into that sort of thing.

I watch a lot of cooking and art related stuff, with art channels I have a lot of people I'm not really subbed to but check out from time to time, and I watch a lot of completly random people to get more variety.

-Hanako's Kitchen, a very cozy bento/Japanese cooking channel

-imamu room, also a bento/ cooking channel. She has a husband and a young daughter that she packs lunches for and it's fun to see the differences in how she prepares them.

-The Harry Gold show, a very entertaining and well produced art channel featuring a lot of style challenges.

-davidsjones , if you like surfing, skating, crafting that involves both, and hearing people from New Zealand talk, you'll like this guy.

Puff, Sip, Chat is a channel I just recently found, most of their content is cigar related which isn't my interest but I enjoy their whisky reviews.

Vargskelethor Joel Uncut Streams
Louis Rossman
JonTron
Angry Cops

That's pretty much it. There's a few other ones but i don't watch them as religiously as i once used to for one reason or another.

ExplainingComputers, TechMoan, Vwestlife, Psiweri, Hugh Jeffreys, Cat and Andrew, j0hnzoid, Don't walk run productions, Think before you sleep, Redeemed zoomer, and Kyle are the english-speaking youtubers that i usually watch.

AllinAll, a weirdo animator with a trippy series based on the Elder Scrolls. He's also working on an animation based on God Emperor of Dune. Some might know him for Pelinal: Animated Opera.
Do you know why AllinAll closed the comment section for Pelinal?

A lot of genuinely formerly good channels went down the YouTube drama route. But there are still some decent channels out there.

Accursed Farms (Ross Scott) - I HAVE TO MAKE THE MOVIE | In depth vidya reviews
Raycevick - General Vidya stuff, long form videos
RedLetterMedia - Mike's still fat
LGR - Boomer vidya and technology
History Buffs - Covers movies and compares them to history, pretty good watch
Kitboga - Good morning sir
Paul Harrel - Gun boomer
ForgottenWeapons - Gun Jesus
Steve1989MRE - Nigga ate civil era ration and nothing happened, ate a Chinese one from 2 years ago and was in the hospital
danooct1 - Computer viruses
Alternate History Hub and Pointless Hub - Just what it says. Still good.

Makes me realize how much larger my recommendations used to be. Now there's so little.

In no random order, I'm just going through my subscription list to name some off:

Joey Does Tech - A British tech channel where he does a series of buying broken tech from eBay and trying to fix it for profit. He keeps tabs on his profit/loss as the series goes on, and he just seems like an all-round nice guy who explains everything he's doing without sounding patronizing.
DJ Audits - British auditor who goes to random industrial companies and films outside until people come out and ask him to leave, prompting him to defend his rights and make them angry. Most of his content ends up with security guards trying to seem tough, karens not understanding the law, or cops being called and promptly siding with the auditor. Most auditors are cringe as fuck but DJ makes it somewhat entertaining.
SaturatedContent - Lolcow channel that makes Boogie2988 look like a fucking idiot time and time again.
Boglim Chronicles - Lolcow channel to keep tabs on beautiful Cobes.
Coops Collection - A Pokemon card vendor who goes to shows and gives out free cards to kids and makes deals with random buyers (you've probably seen him on Youtube Shorts). Very wholesome.
Koifish - Crusader Kings 3 content creator, comes up with random strategies and makes funny shit with them.
Solo Travel Japan - silent Japanese Youtuber who vlogs going on Japanese transport (i.e. ferries, flights, etc). Their content is done in first person and they only speak through subtitles, so it's nice to chill to and listen to the ambience while they review their trip.
OneyPlays - Self explanatory. Just a funny mesh of video games and rambling between friends.
Charles (Charlie) Veitch - Youtuber living in Manchester, UK who goes around vlogging his day and the random events going on in the city. He sometimes goes out to other places in the UK and does the same thing, usually getting in fights with people and keeping tabs on homeless crackheads he meets.
Kill Tony - Weekly stand-up comedy show where narcassistic host Tony Hinchcliffe pulls random sign-up names from a bucket and they come up and do a minute of stand-up in front of a live audience, followed by an interview/roast on how well/bad they did. 90% of the show is awful comedians, but the dark humor is funny and every now and then you get a gem, plus some decent guests every week.

Anti-chef is a pretty good cooking channel. He's been going for seven years and it's all about getting better at cooking.

He's quite good now and have advanced to quite complicated recipes but things can still turn to shit. Those are often very interesting moments because he goes through the process step by step to figure out WHY it turned to shit and how to get it right. Informative. And he doesn't give up, he keeps plugging away at a dish for days if necessary.

i like a lot of crime channels, like red tree crime, EWU, trured crime, etc..but i also love these livecams of birds, i follow the cornell bird cams, and i like the hellgate osprey cam too, it features an osprey who is 23 years old, and she finally found a boyfriend and had babies, after like 6 fruitless years. also serial killer documentaries. also predator catching channels, for background noise.

Wavy Boats
Hours of drone footage of the Haulover inlet and people falling off the boats, hurting themselves or capsizing cause its so rough. No commentary just nice high quality hd footage of expensive boats and sometimes a nice butt.
