I'd say a good 50% of trans people (if not more) hate drag because of its mocking of trans people (historically). Make of that what you will.

Drag, which is steeped with appropriation and misogyny, has always been about the mockery of "fish" (what gay men call women.) It dates back to a time when women were not allowed to be on stage. It literally stands for "DRessed As Girl."

There is literally no difference between a drag queen and a trans "woman." They're both men LARPing as obnoxious caricatures of womanhood . Only the drag queen doesn't deny being male..
