In 3,000 words or less, please lay out your autistic predictions for when and how the DSPSphere will collapse upon itself and the aftermath of Phil's fall from grace.

Will Phil lose his home from taxes?

Will Phil get cucked by Kat?

Will Phil lose a foot from gout?

How do you see this shitstorm ending?

Like a cockroach he will keep on surviving, for the near future anyway, but he should be worried about the distant future, the Twitch bubble will burst at some point, and what will he do then?

He just lives for today, and has no long term plans, no pension plan, no savings, nothing, he will just end up living at his parents home, and his debts will follow him, i see no bright future for Phil beyond the next few years.

I don't think there will ever be a set end date on Phil's career, it'll more likely keep shriveling and drying up until it is no longer financially viable, which, you could argue it already has.

I predict Kat will wise up and leave Phil in 2018, and no later than 2019.

Phil is not likely to lose his house to taxes for a long, long time, in spite of his financial troubles. He'll continue to subsist on his drip feed of pitybux from pay pigs for as long as he possibly can. Phil would short-sell the condo in Connecticut before he ever sells his current house. (He says he won't, because it's lost all sorts of value since he bought it, but if Phil's back is ever truly up against a wall, the best option for him would be to short-sell it in order to give him some financial wiggle room.)

I've seen it mentioned on this forum several times before, but I think if things ever truly get desperate for Phil, he'll go on disability because of his back, or claim mental illness, or all other manner of excuses. I doubt Phil will ever work another job. Phil will continue to scrape by in a pathetic and miserable existence, like an irradiated cockroach.

I read KF since around november/december so I just got recently aware of Phil's shape. So as a new informed human being it looks like when DSP jumped from 2017 to 2018 he steppt on a very steep slope, tumbled and rolls since then, faster and faster. This could be highly subjective of course but even in this short period of time I get the impression he does all he can to end his "career", intentionally or not. On his way he will lose something he darely needs and this "something" will be his first loss which could create a chain reaction.

I would say he can sustain himself because of "fame".
Through his "fame" he will always have an audience, even us.
And in this audience will always be some paypigs.
So the breaking point should begin when there aren't enough people who are willing to feed the pig. And it pretty much looks like Phil works towards this point by losing subs, bits, donations, patreons, etc. So it will start when he can't live his luxury life anymore (imo). I think he can sustain himself, but needs to live differently, like some NeoUndergroundPhil.

So my estimation from the angle of this slope and Phil's general rolling speed ... Somewhere around May 2019. This will happen sooner than the effect of his health problems roll in, maybe. Not an immediate downfall but the point of no return.

Everyone knows the meme about Phil surviving forever, but this year is a bit different.
  1. backtaxes
  2. kat expenses
  3. YouTube has made less money for him than ever previously
  4. Patreon is down by a large amount
  5. 3-4 large supporters have all found better shit to do
  6. reduced level of tips/cheers over time because there are better streamers out there
  7. people not being as interested in him because he spends an hour every day discussing his taxes and then explaining to people already using twitch how they can tip/cheer/sub/patreon/teespring even though its already written.
I'm having a hard time believing at the current rate he'll even make as much as he thinks he will by mid April but he's really starting to fade off, especially when you look at all of those things combined.

Even if he manages to pay off what he owes in April, he still has plenty of tax payments due. He's making less than on Twitch now and YouTube is making less and less each month. Eventually its going to reach a point where he can't make his multiple debt payments on time and that's when he's going to have to sell the house.

I think once he sells the house, it'll mean taking 2-3 weeks off at the very least and I think he might actually reach a point where he decides he doesn't want to do this shit anymore.

Unless he really changes the way he does his streams, there doesn't seem to be any way that he's going to be able to make it work and the problem is that he doesn't make any effort to change things up. But this is already known, his own fans give him valuable advice and he takes none of it.

This is always assuming he owes any taxes at all, and it's not just one big scam.

Occam's razor says he owes something.
Phil's razor says he's lying about something.

Combine the two: he owes taxes but really wants an expensive TV an ps4pro.

Anyone with an income owes taxes, what i meant was the large amount he says he owes is bullshit and one of the reasons why he wont reveal the exact amount.

My bad. Should have said back taxes.

Either way. Dude's credit card rich and credit poor now if we even.belive half of his shit. Bankruptcy probably wouldn't be the worst thing ever for him.

He'll get on a payment plan for all his back taxes (and the ones that are due April 15th). There's some interest and whatnot, but it'll be minor. The instant he sells his WA property, he'll be in a much better position.

The only way I see him being well and truly done is if he gets banned from Twitch. Otherwise, he can reduce his expenses and be making enough. Remember that he's still in the neighborhood of $7-8k a month before taxes right now. If he dropped one of his two condos, he'd be fine and even able to accelerate debt payoff.

The problem is he buys everything on credit.

So either he keeps paying off the condo until the value increases and he can cut his losses.
Or he stops making payments, at which point his credit rating will be basically 0. I believe at that point all of his banks have the ability (and they probably would) to consider him a liability and not only cut off all his lines of credit but make him pay or go on a payment plan.

He'll basically have to declare bankruptcy.

If an anti-vax undesirable such as Jim Carrey can run his spotlight off of fumes, still raking in big bucks by spewing inane cancer to the public then no doubt Phil will continue until nature takes its course.

"fumes" isn't exactly accurate:

DSP doesn't have that advantage, no one is going to pay him even $1000 to appear on pretty much anything. As soon as he starts being unable to cover his loan and credit card installments, its pretty close to being game over.

I think it's gonna be a really anti climactic ending, one day Phil realises that Youtube and Twitch are a losing attempt, and he suddenly disappears, probably not even making a video about leaving. Or he could rage really hard that he quits game, deletes game, deletes channel. Either way..

I think it will be a surprise. I think it will happen when we least expect it. He could have a health scare on stream out of the blue, anything could happen. It won't be money related. To be honest, I thought last year was going to be the end of DSP especially with the partnership with Machinima ending.

We all thought 2013 was the end of DSP's career. THYDP became popular, people started seeing the real DSP for who he was. It also gave birth to autism groups. Since 2013, every year was suppose to be the end of DSP.

Depends on a few things: if the IRS problems are true, then Phil will eventually be charged with tax evasion and likely serve time in prison. That will end it for the most part. We'll laugh about it for awhile, but eventually we'll forget about him and move on. If he doesn't off himself in prison, he'll get out and maybe try to make a comeback, but we'll be over him by that point. It'll be just a minor blimp on the radar. Where he goes from there is anyone's guess.

If he's exaggerating the tax problems, the end will finally come when the financial burden consumes him completely. As I see it, the end is only going to come when we finally lose interest in him. Let's face: we are his final support line. He only gets around a few hundred views per playthrough video, and a few thousand for a vlog. Most of those are people like us who want to make a video making fun of what he said, or are just checking in to see what he said or did now.

Eventually, we'll lose interest and his YT/Twitch career will finally be over. If he doesn't man up and finally go back to working a real job, he'll probably just go an hero and it will end there.

He got audited for backtaxes, and even if he can't pay his backtaxes, that's still not tax fraud or tax evasion. He'll go into payment plans and interest and fees and then he'll end up having to declare bankruptcy. He's not going to prison any time soon (at least its fairly doubtful)
