I already posted in this thread, but I imagine Imane Khelif at the Olympics will be peaking a lot of people, possibly millions. He is almost certainly a biological male who was assigned female at birth and seeing a biological male beat the shit out of a female boxer is bound to peak people. Khelif isn't transgender, since he was assigned female at birth and 'identifies' as female, but he serves to highlight what males in female sports looks like.

You're preaching to the choir. I ordinarily detest 'assigned X at birth'. No, you were not assigned a gender at birth. Your sex was observed and recorded. For similar reasons, I try to avoid all use of 'natal male' or 'natal female'. To use it implies your sex at birth could differ from your sex at a later time. No: your natal sex is your sex, and humans cannot change sex.

But in this case, I wanted to point out that Khelif would not be transgender by transactivist standards, because he was incorrectly recorded as female at birth. Handmaidens all over Twitter/X keep screaming that he isn't transgender and that Algeria doesn't allow transition. Nobody used the word 'trans' for him. They called him male, which he is.

The part that must be emphasised is that males do not belong in women's sports, no matter what the sex recorded at birth and no matter how the male 'identifies', even if he is a male with a disorder of sexual development that has every sincere reason to believe he is female.

Didn't the trans appropriate "assigned at birth" from intersex people, where it makes more sense as part of their history? I remember some people were using CAxAB for "coercively assigned X at birth," but I can't recall if that was the trans trying to differentiate and gin up outrage, or the intersex being militant.

What really had me beginning to question things more was the whole genital preferences discourse, and what brought it to my attention was a conversation I'd had with a gay male friend in which he'd told me that his ex from his teen years was actually a FtM, now FtMt??? (in retrospect, I could have easily inferred that from what he'd told me of her). I found it so jarring when he could say something like "wow they don't lie when they say that trans men get really wet!" and still call himself a gay man.

I've found out even more recently that he doesn't even enjoy banging pooners - he just does it because that's the best he can get. I think he never admitted to it until now because of the assertion in left wing spaces that trans people are who they say they are and should be treated as such no matter the context, but I suppose I've proven myself a suitable confidante.

Of course, this is merely the event that got the ball rolling. That alone wasn't enough to make me reject the entire ideology. It then occurred to me that non-binary (a concept I'd previously thoughtlessly accepted) was really just an escape pod from traditional gender roles that also reinforces them. Then I began to realise the sheer number of troons and poons who openly don't experience dysphoria, and of course, that they're no different from the non-binary crowd. When I was a teen, I witnessed the cotton ceiling debate, but I was too immature to really get it. I did however at the time, learn about non-dysphoric trans people, and was rather disturbed at how many of them were self-proclaimed lesbians. Because of social pressures, I just pushed down that discomfort. Just because I don't understand something doesn't mean I can't accept it, right?

Also rather a subjective claim, but almost every person of gender I've known directly or otherwise IRL has been a massive creep. Pretty much every pooner I know has dated a minor. I know troons are often seen as the predators, and I agree, but I would not leave a 12 year old boy unsupervised around a 19 year old Aiden.

I really wish that the news agencies with access to cover this story would be more forthright about what Khelif and Yu-Ting's deals are, medically speaking, because I think it's difficult to make a decision about what you think of this if you do not have that information. Just purported to be this and they didn't meet the qualifications as female then, but do now. Why? Not to mention that it would be a lot easier to have this discussion about DSD athletes (who genuinely do have something different/unusual about their sex) if trans activists did not want to honk and harp and use intersex patients as a way of getting their foot through the door when they're nothing alike.

Anyway. Seems like when I think that's it, I've peaked as peaked can, I could not possibly become less tolerant of trans people, they prove me wrong by making me hate them just a little more. Every week there's some new example of trans people opting in to hardship and sexism and then complaining about the sexism and hardship they signed up for (and perpetuate, by acting like gross pornsick caricatures of the sex they wish they were.) As if "assigned at birth" couldn't have gotten worse, but "coercively assigned at birth" is even more obnoxious. You weren't coerced into anything at birth. You can't be "persuaded" to do something by force or threats when you are a baby, you absolute tosspot.

I've had a few peaks. Some PL but my sister is pretty deep in the Kool-Aid so she's dated a few TiMs. They were all invariably insane. One wanted to cut off my sister from everyone to monopolize her. Another threatened suicide if my sister didn't start a relationship with him.
