I never said that. None of the Ancient Greek philosophers had the same education in philosophy that we do today. Aristotle was a doctor by trade and Plato a mathematician. Hell, Kurt Godel wa a mathematician and Pierre Duhem was a physicist and I hold them in high regard as philosopher. Nietzsche's training in philology clearly didn't translate into actual meaningful philosophical insights barring ones that were anyone can deduce with enough common sense (being a complete passive sheep all your life is bad, mass culture is not good, etc). Just because someone is a good philologist doesn't mean they will be a good philosopher, especially when you see how spurious and non-connected Nietzsche's thought is compared to people that actually build systems of thought like Aristotle, Averroes or Augustine. He's not that great of a thinker. I can even say that someone like Jeremy Bentham, the mind behind utilitarianism, or Kant is more consistent than Nietzsche by a wide margin and while I disagree with their philosophies, they at least attempt to make a coherent point and build a logical system of thought instead of coping with childhood traumas that only literal children think is deep.lol no you are the one who implied somebody cannot be a philosopher because of having a different formal education, wtf do you think a philologist of ancient Greek reads?
