In all seriousness, given that "recently" (past couple years) there's been a surge in the whole Social Justice Warrior thing and here Chris is becoming a beautiful transsexual woman while talking about oppressive men here and there, I'm super curious if Chris doesn't in some ways default towards being an autistic reflection of the internet and pop culture as a collective. Flashback maybe 8 years ago and Chris' worst crime (yknow, besides being a mental case and basically everything he did ever) was Meme'ing without a License and failing to comprehend how it worked, but it was all there: he would talk about Family Guy cause that's what people were watching and it was cool. He always tried to toss in pop-culture references and shit to his Sonichu comics, and while he royally fucked that up and gave us all World Class mysteries to solve (like wtf went through his head when he wrote "You don't have to tell me twice. BUT IN THE STONE AGE!"), he did mimic the internet and pop culture to a degree. His own special degree, but it still counts. Surely that wasn't anyone's doing but his own? Surely that was just his own autistic mind attempting to blend in, thus resulting in piss-poor attempts to reference pop culture in a "humorous" way? Also worth mentioning that back then, he was straight and loved China, and he agreed with his conservative father about all kinds of stuff.
Now here we are and Chris and his neverending Lovequest is easy prey for ANY WOMAN EVER. Eventually someone tells him about the patriarchy, now we have Stephanie Bustcakes. You cannot tell me with a straight face that Chris would've naturally become a transgender woman if he didn't have someone with boobs whispering in his ear about the patriarchy. I see no reason to think trolls are responsible for this (let me know if I'm wrong), this just seems like something that naturally happened because he happened across some lady contacts that were into fighting the patriarchy.
So what happens eight years from now? What happens if people decide "woops lol that SJW shit was dumb" and it slowly disappears into obscurity, but suddenly hot damn everyone's really big on Japanese tentacle hentai and you can hardly open up google without your browser trying to violate you if you're a delicious loli. Is Chris gonna dawn some self-made tentacle suit or start listening to some hypnosis videos for transforming into an octopus? Is he gonna dress like a japanese schoolgirl all the time?
Surely we can all agree that Chris, Barb, the trolls and the internet all hold partial responsibility, but I'm curious about just how influenced Chris naturally is when left to his own accord. In a parallel universe where Chris Chan isn't famous, would he still reflect pop culture and internet culture to a similar degree? If Chris Chan poops himself in a video and no one's around to retweet it, does he keep doing it? A question for the philosophers, surely, but a question I'd love to get an answer to.
