Why are trannies hated by the rest of the LGBT community?

Trannies aren't really even part of the gay community. They're trannies, not gays.

How does the average gay and lesbian feel about it?

When I see troons act as if lesbians should accept their girlcock I feel pretty bad. Because it's pretty much the new equivalent of the mindset that all she needs is the right dick to fix her. You'd think that if someone considered themselves a member of the LGBT community they'd realise that there has been a horrible history of attempting to rape lesbians straight and that trying to guilt them into cock because it's "girlcock" isn't much different.

I've seen that set of tweets in another thread about how lesbians are just vagina fetishists if they will not accept male lesbians who still have their junk.

I've never had a problem with trans people. Unless they're the kinds who go on and on about it and alienate outsiders. Then I have a problem with you. Treat me with respect and I'll do the same. Be a bitch and I'll treat you like a bitch.
Like @Shit Waifu said above: I honestly have a bigger problem with people on Tumblr who claim they're trans when they really aren't. They're usually the first to jump on you with "mah pronouns." Etc.

Recently a pre-transition acquaintance I know irked some of his pro-trans friends by mentioning that smoking weed, on top of going to a therapist, helps with his dysphoria, and that he might not medically transition due to running the risk of alienating himself from his job and his whole family. Suffice to say his trans friends reee'd about how transitioning is the best and only method of dealing with dysphoria and that smoking weed was just him repressing himself and being ignorant.

After that they cut contact with him. Kinda fucked if you ask me. If something works for you, why not go for it?

Because tumblr troons aren't a real social group. They're a cult. They want to hatch "eggs" by convincing them to disconnect from all their pre-troon friends and family so that the cult can control their lives completely. They are actually threatened by real trans people who have normal relationships with people who aren't troons.

It's a bizarre, sick social phenomenon that has absolutely nothing to do with being trans.

Interestingly, some Middle Eastern countries would be more open to the idea of transgender people....provided they actually have gender dysphoria, pass the medical examinations, see a psychiatrist or two who'd evaluate them, and actually file the paperwork in order to get approval for the sex change:

Obviously, transtrenders would be mortified by the idea of actually having to prove they're not just mentally ill men in dresses.

The reason why transgender surgeries are accepted in the Middle East is that it's conversion therapy, plain and simple. It exists to turn homosexuals straight, hence why heterosexuals can't get it. Critical thinking, guys.

I think why LGBs are so off-put by the T is because in places other than America at least, undergoing sex reassignment surgery is a worst-case scenario. SRS has historically been forced conversion therapy. We all know the horrors of what happened to Alan Turing and seeing people willingly go for that stuff is horrifying.

Also the fact that lesbians are expected to learn to like girldick and gay men are expected to like "male vaginas" in addition to being told to "unlearn their genital biases" sounds a lot like coercion and conversion therapy. I think it's fairly similar to conservative Christian rhetoric regarding homosexuality, but now gays and bisexuals are being forced into close quarters with genderspecials like Riley J Dennis and Milo because the "T" has been tacked on to "LGB". I think it would be ignorant to say that there isn't tension between people with uncommon sexual orientations and people who think those sexual orientations are based on gender identity and changeable like gender identity is. But that's just my take.

I'm honestly fine with trans. I'm NOT fine with annoying trans who often complains about "cissies" every single day. I've known some trans who seem friendly...until they talk about "cissies" or "cishets". It baffles me sometimes that despite Trans being part of the LGBT community, they sure seem to hate cis people, especially cis lesbians, gays or bisexuals. It's no wonder the community had a hard time accepting some trans people. That's what I think.

i'm trans, and i see and feel no hate towards me in the lgbt community. what annoys me is it's the same for transtrenders, even though they're actively shitting on the trans condition. it's not a trend, it's an illness that i wouldn't wish upon my enemies.

If you're not waving a flag constantly about your gender or sexual orientation, and don't make it a cornerstone of your identity, then most people will be accepting.

They're probably just hated in general for their very (very) loud vocal minority. As many people have said before, they make everything a trans issue, even things that aren't even remotely related with this whole trans subject.
The same goes for the LGB thing. Most of them don't care about same-sex marriage (Spain has had same-sex marriag for 12 years now and only around 20% of gay people have married) or about the evil straight cis-oppressors. It's pretty clear to most that heteronormativity is not a tool of oppression, but just based on the fact that the majority of people are straight => majority is much more represented in media, fiction, politics etc. But then there is the vocal minority who feels triggered when they have to say "I'm gay/a lesbian" when someone asks them about their girlfriend/boyfriend.

The last time I've told someone I'm gay was probably two years ago. It's not really a big subject in my life and I think there are more important things to do than talking about who fucks whom and who is oppressed by what. Sometimes I get to know some of those pride flag waving idiots who have to constantly remind me that they're gay. I understand how some people might love to burn them alive...

It's probably the same for the tranny community, but maybe I'm wrong. Personally I don't know any trans person, just the screaming ones you find on the internet.
