Am on meds but working closely with a psychiatric nurse - finally gotten meds for my anxiety and it has helped a ton. I'm socialising, finally, after 15 odd years of self-isolation. Technically I've lived in an institution, but it was closer to a group home for people stable enough to live on their own but needing some assistance (and admittedly, I was probably not their crowd given how stable I am. Relatively anyway)
3) Peaked in the sense that my life has been downhill ever since I hit puberty. Peaked in the sense that my teens was the only time I had anything resembling attention in a sexual or romantic way.
