All of that sums up to China being a dystopian hellhole and an absolute shit state to be in, but failed? They're not failing, they achieved remarkable stability for a rather oppressive state. As sad as it is, it's not failing or on the verge of being replaced by something else. It's stable and here to stay. Even though it might adopt more liberal policies and reforms in the future, the ruling party will stay in power and its economic growth will continue for quite a bit.China is a failed state because they are running it like insects
Authoritarian Government:
Human Rights Issues:
- China is governed by the Communist Party, which maintains strict control over many aspects of life, including politics, media, and the internet. Dissent is often harshly suppressed, and political opposition is not tolerated.
Censorship and Surveillance:
- There are widespread reports of human rights abuses, including the suppression of freedom of speech, censorship, and the detention of ethnic minorities such as Uyghurs in Xinjiang. International organizations and countries have criticized China's treatment of minorities and political dissidents.
- The Chinese government operates a sophisticated system of internet censorship (sometimes called "The Great Firewall"), limiting access to information and controlling the narrative within the country. Surveillance of citizens is also extensive, with facial recognition technology and other tools being used for monitoring.

you said it yourself that it is a dystopian shithole which means it's a bad country "not good to be live there"At what?
Yeah, but it's not going away, it's stable and even growing. It isn't failing at being a state.you said it yourself that it is a dystopian shithole which means it's a bad country "not good to be live there"
it is going away at some point, don't worryYeah, but it's not going away, it's stable and even growing. It isn't failing at being a state.
I mean, everything will crumble at some point, but China still has quite some many years left in its tank. Their party still has most of its authority and the systems that are in place are effective. By any metric, China isn't failing yet. I wished it would, but it isn't.it is going away at some point, don't worry
That is true, although I disagree that they don't have cheap manufacturing to fall back on. Cheap manufacturing is practically all their economy. They might not have the cheapest manufacturing anymore, but they're basically the backbone of western economies when it comes to building stuff cheaply and without too much poop inside. They aren't yet but that looming power vacuum once Xi croaks is something to be concerned about.
Man has totally hollowed out the government and got rid of anyone who could disagree with him. They went through this once Mao bit it but they aren't able to fall back on cheap manufacturing to prop up their economy like they could in the 1970's. There was a LOT of political shuffling around before Deng Xiaoping could reestablish order.
China will die before everyone else, and their party will turn to ashesI mean, everything will crumble at some point, but China still has quite some many years left in its tank. Xi does have too much power concentrated on himself, which in some ways helped him achieve stability, but he better make sure that once he's gone there's a capable successor in place to prevent such a power vacuum.
They still practice a lot of resource extraction and shit out pig steel until the cows come home, but textiles and all the injection-molded chinesium left for Vietnam and the Philippines like a decade ago.Cheap manufacturing is practically all their economy.
Ok, got any reason why?China will die before everyone else, and their party will turn to ashes
Dunno, I think they're in a pretty stable position by now. They went big into optics and all that stuff, too, very high tech stuff, first and foremost to support their own research infrastructure, but also to serve the global market (where applicable, many high tech industries in the West can't trade with China). They're also the main supplier for photovoltaics, batteries, and wind turbine blades, all of which are also a still growing market. They still practice a lot of resource extraction and shit out pig steel until the cows come home, but textiles and all the injection-molded chinesium left for Vietnam and the Philippines like a decade ago.
There's a reason they focused so much on tech and cheap construction. If shit goes south the latter is absolutely fucked, because it's utterly reliant on government funding to exist.
Their country will collapse on itself once things are set right, they are there to dieOk, got any reason why?

Yeah ok but why? How do you know this will happen? What makes you think that it will happen soon? Is there any specific development you know of that suggests a collapse sooner rather than later?Their country will collapse on itself once things are set right, they are there to die
learn more history and you will watch it repeat itselfYeah ok but why? How do you know this will happen? What makes you think that it will happen soon? Is there any specific development you know of that suggests a collapse sooner rather than later?
The mandate of heaven cycle is closer to 200 years than 100, they aren't overdue for a while.learn more history and you will watch it repeat itself
That's a bit of an underwhelming response. Do you have anything concrete you could name right now?learn more history and you will watch it repeat itself
