The fact that users here are also way more laid back and more likely to engage in good faith, as well as not take any offense to being swore at or called a slur, is a nice bonus.

It’s nice to be able to call someone a retarded niggerfaggot in an internet slap fight but then laugh with them at the embarrassing actions of a Lolcow on a different thread. By and large people here still know to not take the internet seriously.

It would probably solve a lot of societal problems if people would take their own opinions a little less seriously and be fine with associating with people that disagree with them.

Nobody nitpicks my terrible english spelling at least people understand english is not my first language here . I can openly sperg about american politics and laugh at it without getting too serious .I cant do that on parents gatherings and my board \ dnd groups . KF just has a great variety of topics in its threads that make them fun to spend time in. Ever since I've made my account I've been spending more time in threads about hobbies or media I like rather than lolcows (even if I still enjoy the gossip).
Another factor is other social media plattforms can have obnoxious userbases but it doesn't help that their nature also kinda incentivises giving shorter responses.
Like, you don't see big, thought out posts on Twitter or Discord groups.

I find people here are individuals just being themselves. Even forums on the internet that try and be open tend to create an environment where everyone posts in the same fashion. Even if those users disagree on topics like politics, they all discuss in the same bland style.

On the farms, one thread could have some jew-hating rants, nigger blaming, faggot blaming, rational thoughts on politics, devils advocate sperging and general shit posting. It's a great mix.

Bonus that you don't have to walk on eggshells and can just let the thoughts flow through you.

As much as I hate to get midwit about this, here's how I see it: We are social animals, and our desire to socialize is inherent and fulfilling. So on top of being the best and most entertaining forum I've ever used, Kiwifarms' user base and its very creator understands what I'm talking about here. You don't fucking get that with conventional social media, and we are closer than ever to not having it at all on the clearnet.

Everyone elsewhere talks the fucking same. Reddit is full of faggy "safe" unoffensive one-liners. They have this same retarded smarmy goofy trying-to-be-funny PC tone. Reddit is just flooded with people making the same bad puns. Here we have posters who just have writing styles and content I enjoy reading. If I've followed you in the past then it means when I see your avatar, I pay extra attention.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the farms are only hated for the racism and (moreso) the fact that the consensus here is tranny-skeptical. SomethingAwful had many somewhat-famous people like CliffyB and faggots I don't want to even think about, and SomethingAwful and its posters harassed people regularly with a thumbs-up from the admins. The Farms publish dirty laundry about connected-people and that's why we have trouble staying on the clearnet. Strange for a website like KF to be so uniquely censored when I thought we lived in a deeply racist, privileged, sexist, tranny-genociding society.

After reading about all the losers that have wasted their lives on the Internet, I've stopped playing video game, watching porn and using social media, and now I go outside and have fun instead of sitting inside in front of my computer screen.
