Most people say that it’s important to not to conform what society says however, for some when one follows their own virtues they become, as we call them, LOLcows.
So why is it a bad thing to be considered as such? Why is it a bad thing to be ridiculed for what one does?
Or in other words, why is not a good thing to be this guy: :neckbeard:

Because some like to point and laugh.

When "rebelling against society" becomes the status quo, can it still be considered "rebellion"?

Anyway you dont want to be a lolcow because the opposite of a lolcow is a functional, successful adult

Can you think of one notable lolcow whose behavior doesn't affect anyone else? Who seems like a genuinely nice person? Lolcows aren't just people who behave eccentric on the internet - they're normally tormenting people and or animals with their attitude, legal threats, and other provocations.

Not every cow is a monster.

JustinRPG is a good example of a harmless lolcow, but his cases are rare.
In general it's mostly people who act like asses or are vile who get the brand.
In general, it's not good to have bad things about you floating around about yourself online, but these individuals jut love making asses of themselves so much that they repeat the same mistakes over and over.
You don't turn into a lolcow from making a mistake, you turn into one by repeatedly doing stupid shit.

Ironically, being on Kiwifarms is probably far more counterculture at this moment in time than these people will every be.

People who say not to conform to society tend to be lolcows. You can have attributes, hobbies, and skills that make you different from other people, but once you start dressing up like Harley Quinn or wear a tail in public, you turn into a lolcow.

Harmless or not, they have parents* and grandparents, and we live in a society.

Secular sharia law is required to stop these people from bringing down the shame upon their families.

* well mostly single mothers but y'know

Nobody becomes a lolcow just for not conforming. They either fuck, poop on, wank off to, get angry at, or draw porn of things they shouldn’t frequently, and are willing to share that information with the whole wide world.

So it’s not accurate to say it’s important to not be a lolcow, but rather that it’s important to make sure your public persona doesn’t get in the way of your aspirations. If you’re working your way up a corporate ladder, your tumblr album of the stuffed animals you shit on and bang while your much older romantic partner changes your large diaper probably shouldn’t include your face and real name.
