Because despite having money enough for rent on at least a modest place, he is literally too stupid and lazy to even get an apartment.
Even with the fact that he's a spastic tard visibly tattooed all over him he could find some kind of hotel for defectives.
But instead he blows all his money on moronic tattoos and other idiocy.
He also posts enough shit with backgrounds in it that it's fairly obvious he's using boo-hoo claims of homelessness to sponge on people he knows who for whatever reason are still dumb or soft-hearted enough to pity his worthless ass.
If he had a brain and some responsibility, he could easily become a home owner. For one, California is not doing him any favors with the high costs of living and housing. Since he is fucking homeless anyway and is on federal SSDI (assumingly direct deposited to a bank account), he can go anywhere right now and keep his autism money. It isn't hard in a lot of areas of the country to find a decent home for 25k and end up with mortgage payments under 150 per month, especially if you watch for foreclosure deals.
Really, with his tugboat money he can do just fine, he simply chooses to fail at life. He's been getting our tax dollars for what seems like a few years now, I think he was already on it when he was whining about losing his job in the Occupy video, but assuming it's been about 3 years or so, he has squandered the opportunity to have saved up at least a 20k nest egg if he had budgeted and saved intelligently. He could have bought a decent used car outright, found an affordable home and made a chunk of a downpayment for the mortage and still been left with a roughly 10k nest egg of pure liquid cash. This is assuming he gets about 15k per year for a hypothetical three year period, less basic needs and food without all his autism spending on weird BDSM gear, tattoos and other garbage, and also without making every meal cost 5-10 dollars at a fast food place.
So not only could have had put together a decent living situation, gotten a car and probably lost weight in the process, but he could have done it in just a few years of moderate adult-level discipline.
But this is ADF. If he were capable of that type of basic adult life planning, he would never have dropped out of college, would never have beat his mother up and wouldn't be a walking virus.
