Wikia / FANDOM - The ugly result of giving aspies control of their own wiki websites

Yeah, aside from crappy UI and strange formatting, it's really just a basic bitch critique site.

Terrible Shows, however, that's a goldmine.

Really? I don't know what made it more obvious, the spelling error, or the poorly-drawn avatar?

This nugget of joy came from the extremely autistic Soundeffects Wiki. I go here once in a while for a laugh, and I am never disappointed when I find stuff like this:

Doesn't surprise me that this guy has never been outside of his home country

I think this one pretty much speaks for itself.

So you decided to rant about how much one specific sound effect of a crying baby annoys you and makes you want to move to where the sound effect was produced? What's next, someone doing a similar rant about how The Wilhelm Scream gives them nightmares and wishing that the first movie it was in was not made at all?

On the subject of wikias, there is one called Scratchpad Wikia in which people write their own ideas and spoof everything from movies and TV shows with different casts to stuff like food, countries and inanimate objects like crayons. There's also people who go on there and make up fake episodes of TV shows. Here's some examples of some of the content you can find on there:

Oh boy, I love going to the Scratchpad Wiki every now and then, just so I can study the cesspool of autism it contains.
The Scratchpad Wiki reminds me of this one website I used to go to all the time when I was little. It’s called “TrainSpottingWorld”, and there’s one page in particular that’s kind of important to me because it was one of my first exposures to the crazier side of the internet: http://train.spottingworld.com/FanFic:Potential_Plotlines_(Thomas_&_Friends)
This is basically a page where autists come up with their own ideas for Thomas the Tank Engine episodes. While some of them are actually pretty good, a lot of them are either clones of existing episodes, shitty crossovers, or ripped off from Homestar Runner.

Wow, there's actually quite a lot of these fake episodes! It could take someone a whole day to read this!

The Real Life Villains Wiki has mostly cleaned itself up. The autism appears to now be quarantined to this page. This is a massive list of subjects that don't deserve articles. While it's indeed true that they don't deserve them, the article itself oozes autism. First of all, most of the list items are described as "merely just a controversial (whatever)." Second, a lot of the list items include bad movies and video games, and of course they mention Doug Walker, AVGN, and Mr. Enter.

Kiwi Farms makes the list, though, as do lolcows.

  • Amazon, just a controversial online shopping company that made Toys R Us fall.
God damn, this thread contains some downright nuclear autism.
EDIT: Also, this page just proves that the word "controversy" has lost all meaning.

The Turtledove Wikia is for the works of Harry Turtledove, an author whose works are centered around Alternate History. Unlike other authors whose Wikia's are often bad and go abandoned, this Wikia is a very good source for his works. It is run by a few admins most notable are TR & Turtle Fan, they basically made the Wikia entirely by themselves and get into conversations & speculate on the talk pages with each other or other users. As of recently, they caught a nasty sickness called Trump derangement syndrome.

Trump's article has been around since 2015 as there was a brief mention of him in one of Turtledove's books. On Trump's inauguration day, TR gave Trump the category for real world U.S. Presidents for a whole 9 minutes until he decided to redirect it to a page for minor historical character in Turtledove's works. He did not undo this for almost a whole year. This is because Harry Turtledove, who himself has a nasty case of TDS, created a short story about (Spoiler Alert) the US becoming like North Korea simply because of Trump. Now having to live with this, they decided to make his article great again.

"Donald Trump is literal Hilter, Stalin, and Mao and I hope he dies soon!" Of course, those articles don't have all the detailed extensive failings like Trump's do.

Before I archive it they remove "Fucking Moron" from his name.

A user questioned if it was ok to have such objectively slanted content as well to hope Trump to -fucking die- but they were having none of it. Here is a capture from the talk page. Although the whole talk page is full of hate for Trump that grows as Trump rises to the oval office.

Alabama's intro also has a smug nod about that one pedo who didn't get elected there.
