I think this one pretty much speaks for itself.
Oh boy, I love going to the Scratchpad Wiki every now and then, just so I can study the cesspool of autism it contains. So you decided to rant about how much one specific sound effect of a crying baby annoys you and makes you want to move to where the sound effect was produced? What's next, someone doing a similar rant about how The Wilhelm Scream gives them nightmares and wishing that the first movie it was in was not made at all?
On the subject of wikias, there is one called Scratchpad Wikia in which people write their own ideas and spoof everything from movies and TV shows with different casts to stuff like food, countries and inanimate objects like crayons. There's also people who go on there and make up fake episodes of TV shows. Here's some examples of some of the content you can find on there:
- A list of fake episodes of Shining Time Station which have crossovers with other shows, some of which aren't for the target demographic of toddlers.
- I don't get what this is trying to say!
- So a dalmatian is Thomas the Tank Engine, huh?
- Here, have some PBS characters ruining Aladdin!
- Someone's fan-made character for the Disney movie Bolt.
- This DVD idea wouldn't be possible IRL. All these shows are owned by different companies.
- What if Uncle Grandpa was made by Disney in the 90's?
- A fictional event devoted to trolleys and trains.
- Someone wants Toon Disney back, apparently.
- Anime characters can be turned into songs? How?
- To cap things off, a page which someone trolled to point out how flawed the Wikia in question is.
Wow, there's actually quite a lot of these fake episodes! It could take someone a whole day to read this!Oh boy, I love going to the Scratchpad Wiki every now and then, just so I can study the cesspool of autism it contains.
The Scratchpad Wiki reminds me of this one website I used to go to all the time when I was little. It’s called “TrainSpottingWorld”, and there’s one page in particular that’s kind of important to me because it was one of my first exposures to the crazier side of the internet: http://train.spottingworld.com/FanFicotential_Plotlines_(Thomas_&_Friends)
This is basically a page where autists come up with their own ideas for Thomas the Tank Engine episodes. While some of them are actually pretty good, a lot of them are either clones of existing episodes, shitty crossovers, or ripped off from Homestar Runner.
The Real Life Villains Wiki has mostly cleaned itself up. The autism appears to now be quarantined to this page. This is a massive list of subjects that don't deserve articles. While it's indeed true that they don't deserve them, the article itself oozes autism. First of all, most of the list items are described as "merely just a controversial (whatever)." Second, a lot of the list items include bad movies and video games, and of course they mention Doug Walker, AVGN, and Mr. Enter.
Kiwi Farms makes the list, though, as do lolcows.
God damn, this thread contains some downright nuclear autism.
- Amazon, just a controversial online shopping company that made Toys R Us fall.
