I honestly hope he does more wiki coverages like this one. There's no end to the well of autism on wikis, with the Fanon wikis in particular being a treasure trove of cringe to almost rival Pooh's Adventures combined with shameless fetishism and every gender under the sun and beyond.
they do this shit all the time with other animals and manga too. Fucking faggotsView attachment 5138630
And Yamato? Fucking seriously? Oda is clearly showing that Yamato is a woman hanging out with other women. Yet they STILL want to insist that she's a transman. Fucking idiots....
So, I took an look around Wikia and it's safe to say that there's hardly much of anything new going on. Aside from this long-ass apology by an autist and the company shitting out those "corporate pride" blogs
There's disability pride that was also explained through emotions
An staff blog endorsing fanfiction
Random partnership with drag queens
One of their marketing managers is an drag queen.
Which is partially why they've went into overdrive by shitting out guides on how to use the editing software and started an program or two where an assistant will be assigned to most of the major wikis in order to attract more users. It isn't working because their main demographic is...you know and there appears to be an new policy for Italian wikis that demands that they'll meet an minimum size of at least 25 pages, with 10 of them having an cumulative size of 15,000 bytes within an certain timeframe of their creation. Inactive jannies will eventually get demoted and the open positions can be replaced by anyone who's willing to go through the red tape of volunteering. Fanon wikis are subject to be merged or deleted, along with some other bullshit in the name of search engine optimization. They have pretty much burned through any non-badwill left for them from fans and fandoms
Only if you like watching kids and manchildren lunge at each other's throats. Is there even anything worth talking about on fandom anymore?
it has gotten to the point where the minecraft wiki has moved to an independent host as fandom becomes more corporate garbageIs there even anything worth talking about on fandom anymore? All the wikis I cared about got banned in like 2019.
Didn't the Zelda wiki do the same thing?it has gotten to the point where the minecraft wiki has moved to an independent host as fandom becomes more corporate garbage

Of course, it pissed someone off and he's been given the runaround
A lot of wikis did starting like 10+ years ago, beginning with the first time they rolled out a skin that broke all the formatting and made the page about 50-60% ads.Didn't the Zelda wiki do the same thing?
And thank God they did. The Minecraft Wiki was originally hosted on Gamepedia (owned by Curse known for CurseForge) which was perfectly fine and dandy, and then Curse was acquired by Wikia/Fandom and turned the damned thing into a Fandom site by 2021. Shit is awful lol, glad it's getting moved again.it has gotten to the point where the minecraft wiki has moved to an independent host as fandom becomes more corporate garbage
Is there a list somewhere of all the Wikis that got banned/taken down from the site? I know the Monster Girl Encyclopedia wiki was one of them.Is there even anything worth talking about on fandom anymore? All the wikis I cared about got banned in like 2019.
They did, and joined NIWA, the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance. But, they hosted their wiki on Gamepedia...who got bought out by Wikia. Not sure if they are planning on moving again or have already done so.Didn't the Zelda wiki do the same thing?
Most of the ones that I know of were the fetish ones that Geth was trying to add to Miraheze and the duplicates that were created from the kids arguing amongst themselvesIs there a list somewhere of all the Wikis that got banned/taken down from the site?
