Wikia / FANDOM - The ugly result of giving aspies control of their own wiki websites

Since I didn't see it mentioned here, I just thought some of you might like to know that Wookieepedia's community has imploded after they banned one of their admins and sabotaged another user's promotion which led to the Wook's irc and discord archives getting leaked, revealing a lot of conspiratorial shenanigans and autistic plots to backstab one another, as well as one of their star administrators Immi Thrax being exposed as the head of a creepy tranny discord clique that wanted to oust "cis male" site members, mutilate their genitals and encourage female and queer members to become the main editors of the Wook, with other administrators such as Imperators II and others bowing to them and even conspiring against other high ranking members.

Cucked youtuber EckhartsLadder was also at the center of the drama since he was one of the guys who had his promotion sabotaged and helped to spread the leaked chats after getting backstabbed and speaking out against Fandom's shameless monetization practices and ad spam.

I've already covered some of the events concerning the drama and archived the necessary links and videos here:

Here is Immi Thrax's official response to the drama:

Wookieepedia's illusion of unity and trust has been shattered and now the least autistic members know that there's no love for each other within the community. Many including Thrax have packed their bags and those that stayed yet took part in the drama are staying silent and trying to pretend they did nothing wrong. The site has also (for the time being) seemingly lost the endorsement of EckhartsLadder who was one of their top shills up until November when the whole thing erupted, although I expect him to go crawling back eventually.

In short, a bunch lesbos and trannies got together to sabotage male members, and their administrative simps encouraged them, and even banned one of their top admins for recording all of their gay little chats on false pretenses which resulted in a well known youtuber to speak out. Enough attention was brought to the drama that some of the tards were forced to flee while other tards still remain. Wookieepedia critics and Eckharts though are trying to downplay the situation because they don't want people paying attention to the tranny aspect of this disaster because it will attract bigots. So don't expect any positive changes to this Titanic mess of a site. Expect more drama and division as time passes.

Truly discord is the autistic echo chamber that keeps on giving.

I remember I used to browse Wikia/Fandom at times because I was bored one time, and I remember coming across one of the most autistic things known to man by a user called Shinji iIkari999. As his user name implies he really likes Shinji Ikari for some god forsaken reason, and seems to infest unused/unmoderated fanon wikis with his sheer unbridled autism. It seems about a year ago his account was disabled either out of shame or because of the wiki staff, but what he created is still there, albeit hidden by tba dates. Here's some older edits/examples I found.

Notice how they are all from different, completely unrelated wikis. I would have forgotten about him had I not seen this thread.

So, I took an look around Wikia and it's safe to say that there's hardly much of anything new going on. Aside from this long-ass apology by an autist and the company shitting out those "corporate pride" blogs

There's disability pride that was also explained through emotions

An staff blog endorsing fanfiction

Random partnership with drag queens

One of their marketing managers is an drag queen.

They have pretty much burned through any non-badwill left for them from fans and fandoms.. Between pretty overtly getting political and troon stuff (see the girl from One Piece etc) and then the mass deleting of all ecchi and suggestive series. Including things with just too much fanservice.. anime/manga/asian especially.

Most of the major western fandoms, especially for things other than japanese media, have been so normified that they are meaningless and dead. Outside of social media at least.

Which is partially why they've went into overdrive by shitting out guides on how to use the editing software and started an program or two where an assistant will be assigned to most of the major wikis in order to attract more users. It isn't working because their main demographic is...you know and there appears to be an new policy for Italian wikis that demands that they'll meet an minimum size of at least 25 pages, with 10 of them having an cumulative size of 15,000 bytes within an certain timeframe of their creation. Inactive jannies will eventually get demoted and the open positions can be replaced by anyone who's willing to go through the red tape of volunteering. Fanon wikis are subject to be merged or deleted, along with some other bullshit in the name of search engine optimization.

Of course, it pissed someone off and he's been given the runaround

Sounds like the kind of top-down heavy handed bullshit that got them into this in the first place. Hope the irony of trying to run a site called fandoms like a police state dictatorship isn't lost on them forever.

it has gotten to the point where the minecraft wiki has moved to an independent host as fandom becomes more corporate garbage
And thank God they did. The Minecraft Wiki was originally hosted on Gamepedia (owned by Curse known for CurseForge) which was perfectly fine and dandy, and then Curse was acquired by Wikia/Fandom and turned the damned thing into a Fandom site by 2021. Shit is awful lol, glad it's getting moved again.

Is there even anything worth talking about on fandom anymore? All the wikis I cared about got banned in like 2019.
Is there a list somewhere of all the Wikis that got banned/taken down from the site? I know the Monster Girl Encyclopedia wiki was one of them.

Didn't the Zelda wiki do the same thing?
They did, and joined NIWA, the Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance. But, they hosted their wiki on Gamepedia...who got bought out by Wikia. Not sure if they are planning on moving again or have already done so.

Most of the ones that I know of were the fetish ones that Geth was trying to add to Miraheze and the duplicates that were created from the kids arguing amongst themselves
