Wikia / FANDOM - The ugly result of giving aspies control of their own wiki websites

Looks like the OP Wiki's senior editor SeaTerror is trying to challenge the tranny enforcement. Imagine if the tranny jannies drove away one of their most active editors.

Speaking of editors, it looks like activity on the site has dipped since the tranny pronoun enforcement across the Wano fags and Okamas articles started. Although it feels like activity in fandom/wikia overall has been slowly declining.

Maybe some users are wising up?

Well remember that not too long ago they purged a bunch of ecchi and "too much ecchi" anime/manga/game/comic and other series wiki's for reasons they refused to fully state. This was only the latest anti fan thing that fandom has done.

I'd reckon this is likely for vague standards of "advertiser-friendliness". The world of business is increasingly sexless, and we all know wikia love love looooves ads.

Yeah true, but don't pretend that this new era of extreme "sexlessness" isn't coming from these same types of people. With all the targeting of straight fanservice only and all that. There's a very real chance that people like this were directly behind it. (remember that this fuck it in charge of all manga and anime related stuff and we see where his interests rest)

I get that trannies are colonizers by nature but why the fuck would they want to claim the Okamas?
You really want to claim THIS
Nigga, if these are trans people then they are the most unflattering depictions of trannies in all of media worldwide. This is worse that black face in my opinion.
Also, doesn't Okama literally just mean gay in Japanese? Literally everything points to them just being gay men doing drag.
Ivankov could have literally made them into women if they wanted to be women but they're still men.

Right, it's been a while.

Continuing on with my tell-all exposé now that the troons have finally fucked off, we have the colossal dumpster fire that is the Wiki Adoption system.

Say you want control of a Wiki, but it's been abandoned for a while. A couple months. A year. Ten years, even.

Well, in that case, you have to fill out A Wiki Adoption form.

Obviously, there are some simple rules so that complete retards can't seize control of something with thousands of pages. In theory, at least. In actuality, I can tell you this has not stopped anyone from derailing a formerly-informative wiki with loads of made-up autistic bullshit because a complete moron with zero judgement handed them the keys.

Perhaps the most egregious rule in Wiki adoption which attracts autists the same way an open bottle of coke attracts insects is this, paraphrased in its entirety:
  • Editing content pages on the wiki each day for at least a consecutive week prior to the time that your application is submitted. (Editing images, categories, or Discussion posts may not count, as we need to see that you have some command of the subject of the wiki.)
Yup, you read that correctly. In order to be approved as the new Bureaucrat for a wiki, you have to submit at least one edit a day, every day, for one week. And no, there is no wiggle room here. Every day for a week. And then every day thereafter until your application is approved or denied. Miss a day, you don't get it. Doesn't matter how transformative or additive your edits are, btw, even though they may claim otherwise. You can do simple typographical work, add some images, fix some formatting, and you'll get it if they're feeling nice. Because according to these morons, a normal person edits a Wiki every day of their lives with no other commitments.

And of course, there's only really one type of person who has the time to edit a wiki every single day. And those are responsibility-less autists, usually no older than 18.

What's worse is that no-one working as part of Fandom's staff seemingly has the slightest modicum of common sense, and so this rule applies to EVERYONE. It doesn't matter if you've contributed to the website for over a decade, making thousands, if not tens of thousands of edits and have worked your way up to Mod/Admin on each of the Wikis you worked on, your word is no better than someone who joined the website yesterday. Retardedly, there is absolutely no form of "prestige" or "experience" system on Fandom, when there is no reason as to why there shouldn't be, and so regardless of who you are on Fandom, you have to go through the same adoption process as everyone else.

Again, I can't reveal too much since I'll expose myself otherwise, but there was a Wiki based around an automotive service's ad campaigns, as they had had many over the years and someone obviously thought they were worth documenting. The only problem was it was completely unmoderated. And this allowed a pre-teen to turn it into his own fanon wiki. For more than 2 years, this kid made 2,000 pages based on adverts that didn't even exist. There were about 100 categories for each page, all individually input and typically having no relation to the original page, whether legitimate or of his devision. To perhaps envision it a little easier, one of this child's pages would look like this:

State Farm Harry Potter 101 Dalmatians Advert
The State Farm Harry Potter 101 Dalmatians Advert was an advert for State Farm that first aired on the 07/04/98. It was Aired until 2003. It was shown on CBS, NBC, Nick Jr., ABC, FOX, CNN, TNN, TNT, Spike TV, Adult Swim, Adult Swim Jr., Cartoon Network And Comedy Central.

Harry Potter (Played By Daniel Radcliffe) answers a phone With Cruella Deville (from 101 Dalmatians) on the other end. She crashes her car and he tells her she can save with State Farm. The Main Characters From Paw Patrol, Thomas & Friends, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic And Bluey All Celebrate.

Now imagine a few thousand of these.

So, I tried to let FANDOM staff know about it. I created a thread in Community Central where I attempted to alert them to this blatant vandalism. Do you know how they responded?

"How can you tell? Perhaps YOUR contributions are junk."
Extremely classy. There were hundreds of ways you could have tackled this problem, and you chose one where:
  1. You refused to acknowledge the problem which I so handily pointed out
  2. You slagged off the hard work of a genuine contributor
  3. You made yourself look like an absolute ignorant cunt in the process
Absolute retards, the lot of them.

Yeah, it's incredibly normal for an autist to string together some random shit and pass it off as an story, especially if nobody is watching them. But with the context of Fandom, all they're doing is building their own sand castles and occasionally throw an tantrum once they get their shovel taken away (which is kind of rare, since they normally know which sites are safe for them).

And I'm pretty sure that Fandom staff knows is,cutting corners by enabling tv-obsessed tards manage their wikis. After all, it's not like that they'll have an life of their own, going by half of the drama that goes on at Community Central.

Like respecting Ellen's pages pronouns

But on the other side, there's someone writing fanfics about the people that he hates. Here's an unrelated sample. And he was literally born with 18 chromosomes. Personally, I think he meant that he has trisomy 18, but I'm not exactly sure.

That's over half your chromosomes. I'm pretty sure there's no condition remotely compatible with life that has that. He's probably just a standard retard with a fucked up 18 chromosome.
Yeah, I was looking into what happens whenever any part of the 18th chromosomes is fucked with; and most of them is just seizures and the usual spectrum of physical deformities. It also causes Edward's syndrome, which is the second-most common chromosomal disorder after Down's; and this one actually causes mental retardation (amongst other things).

Poor guy probably heard that bit about his 18th pair of genes and just ran with that

I'm getting really sick of these shameless monopolies. These faggots are even trying to buyout fan communities now.

Its like I've said before, wikia/fandom no longer cares about wikis and are obviously slowly phasing them out into a tertiary position in order to turn itself into another and more messy social media tycoon.

& @Becky McDonald

This is ultimately the problem with wikis in general. It doesn't matter how much work the most dedicated basement dweller puts into them, eventually some faggot years from now will take over and delete everything they made or replace it with fanfiction, and if that doesn't happen and they're an independent wiki, then their wiki site will eventually fall apart the minute their community dies out and they can no longer make payments, resulting in their site being shut down or bought out by the same greedy suits like Fandom that they tried to get away from in the first place; and if neither of those events occur, their wikis will inevitably get taken over by spergs and trannies once the old guard dies out, making their sites sterile and fetishistic messes.

There's no winning scenario when it comes to wikis or sites it seems.

Ouch, that one hurts especially. (GameFAQs) Well there goes all the hentai and ecchi FAQs etc..

Can censorious (and cancerous) media orgs please stop buying up fandom and media sites?! Especially if they are going to censor and then likely kill them soon after! God fucking damn it!
A site like GameFAQs would be really easy to replicate elsewhere, though. It's just basically a repository of text files.

Hell, I remember the pre-GameFAQs days where you found FAQs on Usenet boards…
