I immediately knew the Villains Wiki was teaming with autism when I stumbled upon a page dedicated to the butterfly from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared.

Villains Wiki is adminned by tropers, so that's why it's been infested by TV Tropes bullshit.I immediately knew the Villains Wiki was teaming with autism when I stumbled upon a page dedicated to the butterfly from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared.
There's one for "Seddie" as well. I don't watch iCarly but didn't they actually do an episode making fun of these autists?
Wikia folks just want to sperg about cartoons, but Wikipedia admins want to pretend they have some sort of real power.Anyone have an opinion on Wikipedia vs Wikia 'autism levels'?
All I can say is that the Wikia editors I've met generally seem friendlier and more conversational than the WP ones.
I can corroborate this. I've had experiences with staff of both sites. Wikipedia admins generally seem as though they use the perceived power on that site to be bullies as compensation for real-life inadequacies.Anyone have an opinion on Wikipedia vs Wikia 'autism levels'?

Yeah that's been my gist too, same with RatShitNow Wiki.I can corroborate this. I've had experiences with staff of both sites. Wikipedia admins generally seem as though they use the perceived power on that site to be bullies as compensation for real-life inadequacies.
I said before about the Anime Bath Wiki but the autism on display there not being documented is a grave injustice. Here's some of their categories.
Kagome from Inyuyasha:

Lum Invader from Urusei Yatsura:

That's a lot of categories, huh? Actually, no it isn't. Let's have a look at Bulma from Dragon Ball:

I'll post something more in-depth tomorrow, I'm sleepy right now. This should be more than enough autism to hold you guys over in the meantime though.
I feel like wikia can be useful, but never when it's about female characters that are portrayed as moderately attractivesome pervy sperg said:Turanga Leela (born July 29, 2975) one of the main characters in Futurama. She is the tomboyishly beautiful and very sexy captain of the Planet Express ship. With a "no rain or sleet" attitude and a "kick-your-arse" grace, this delivery captain is a refreshing source of professionalism to counterpoint the rest of the crew.
Wikia itself loves to treat its content creators like shit if they dare leave the Wikia platform. Check out the Anti-Wikia Alliance website for more info.
For example, I contribute to a Godzilla-related Wiki, but the head admin decided to fork the site to an independent host. Wikia immediately restored the old Wiki on their domain, meaning that now we're competing with ourselves. Wikia will also blacklist other wiki platforms from being mentioned on their service, and will ban users globally for 'advertising', even if all they've done is post a link to the new site on their user page.
Wikia has been really nice to me concerning that, since we have forks of All The Tropes on Wikia and Miraheze. Then again, I made it quite clear I had every intention of maintaining the Wikia fork and not leaving it to rot.
Also, here's another list of some of the more...exceptional categories at the Anime Bath Wiki. For the record, the "Females" category has EIGHTY-SEVEN subcategories! Here's some of the more ridiculous ones:
- Female furries
- Females who drank tard cum after bathing
- Females who have bathed after being out in the rain
- Females who have bathed on a spaceship
- Females who have bathed while conversing with a character who wasn't bathing
- Females who have bathed while depressed
- Females who have been fondled while bathing
- Females who have weighed themselves after bathing
- Females whose gender was discovered during a bathing scene
- Females who have had someones face between their breasts while they were bathing or showering
- Females who have had an imposter that bathed or showered
- Females who have bathed because they were filthy (Why the fuck else would they?)
- Implied Bathers
- Rubber Duck Owners
- Categories for owners of a bunch of different bathtub types, all of which I don't feel like linking here
There's nothing too "out there" besides categories. Most articles tend to consist of "so-and-so takes a bath in episode X and does such-and-such," followed by fapservice galleries. By the standards set by other "fetish" wikis, it's pretty tame."Implied Bathers"
This wiki is a treasure.
