Has anyone ever thought about kidnapping Barb and holding her hostage, threatening to kill her unless he makes comics? I think that might work.

Serious question.
For Chris, that would be a real dilemma. His beloved mother being killed by kidnappers... or a couple of hours' work?

I'm actually not joking, I think he would honestly struggle with that choice.

Sonichu the concept is effectively eternal. These characters are crucial figures in Chris's own personal mythos and to this day he still talks and thinks about them. He even advances the storyline occasionally, such as when he revived Simonla or when he declared Chris-Chan Sonichu was now a woman and had impregnated herself with her own semen.

Chris never intended Sonichu as a comic. He intended it as several animated series and video games. In the early days he figured this was inevitable and he wrote the comics as a sort of pitch rather than the actual end-all to the franchise. So in that sense no, Sonichu will never truly "end" and will continue on as a bunch of stupid Facebook posts and the occasionally drawing until Chris dies.

Why is he not happy? A lot of things rolled into one, but the most prominent being Barb's failing health and just living a welfare shut-in lifestyle. I'm sure somebody else can diagnose his issues better, but yeah, Chris' life sucks these days.
inb4 a-log but...
That's nobody's responsability.
With all the money he keeps receiving and with that giant donation, the guy was perfectly able to help Barb (he doesn't even owe her, let's agree on that, but he's living under her roof right now, defend him however you want but this is true, he has to help around, if he cares that much, otherwise... leave, if you want to live under your own rules and "responsabilities"). He prioritized toys and videogames. He prioritized bad decisions and then cries about it like it wasn't his fault but, somehow, he isn't happy. Other people do much worse than him and they still make an effort in life. And, mind you, most of them don't even get help of a "monthly tugboat".

As for the shut-in lifestyle, don't we already have proof he isn't that much of a shut-in anymore? Basically, Chris realized it was only up to him to change that.
Anyway, no, if money did not help, I doubt anything else will. It's all up to Chris but he doesn't need to continue Sonichu. He considers he's already famous for it, so why finish? He needs to find a very good reason for it these days. I guess even Chris got tired of doing kiddie drawings over time.

I can't really blame Chris for not helping out Barb more, his household seems like a place where if Barb knows there's money around she'll want some of it so Chris might as well just spend it. (Being autistic Chris hates change so moving out would likely be far too big of a deal for him to consider without some huge incentive like say a girlfriend substitute Barb)

And the mortgage was paid off but Barb got another so what would stop her getting yet another on a whim if Chris somehow paid it off?

Sort of true. Chris wanted Sonichu the comic to be the keystone of a larger media empire, with the art and publishing outsourced to Archie (who made all the Sonic the Hedgehog comics). His autistic master plan was always to licence his projects to major companies, for which he'd serve as the creative director and receive a royalty and all the credit while they provided all the labour and funding: Sega and Nintendo for his games, Disney/Nickelodeon or some anime studio for his TV series, etc.

Those ambitions might be catatonic, but Sonichu and CWCville still actively "live" in Chris's head. It's key to remember he thinks his fictional creations exist in an alternate dimension and that they have lives and opinions of their own, hence him doing things like describing what Sonichu and friends think of Trump's immigration ban. Retreating to a realm where he's invincible is his coping mechanism and always will be.

It almost makes me what see into the inner workings of CWC's noggin every time he daydreams about CWCville. Then again, looking at the "origin story" of the two latest Sonichu larvaue, Russel and Cynthia, maybe I should count my blessings not knowing what's going on in said noggin...

Chris's creations are tools to resolve the shortcomings of his reality. Sonichu is his super cool best friend and supplicant, Crystal is his sister, Mary Lee Walsh and the other villains are helpless punching bags to validate his infinite power, etc. Most of the characters in CWCville serve no purpose other than to populate his fiction and pay him respect as their literal god. Russell and Cynthia are just the latest extension to his fantasy of being the deity-matriarch for a perfect, loving family.

it feels like Sonichu was doomed as soon as he started to actually respond to the criticism of CWC being the main character. it seems that now he thinks he's not allowed to have his comic character be the main character...which pretty much renders his easiest source of plot lines (his own life) dry.

just speculation.

The cwcki suggests Chris lost interest in the comic during the Simonla incident and I feel this is accurate. This was really the first time Chris wrote anything on someone else's terms and it's obvious it bothered him. After that, I think some of the magic died with Simonla.

I know he since brought her back but it's obvious he's got no interest in the comic anymore. He wants to keep things to Facebook and his own fantasy because no troll can ever force a change in those arenas.

Call me crazy but I believe the adventures of Sonichu is still going strong, In Chris's head. Just lazy to share his wonderful world with the rest of us

I If you look at some of his facebook postings youll see some of his lego/amiibo creations that depicts Megan and Cole as nasty, angry, JERKS. I believe If he wasn't so damn lazy we would see sonichu and chris fight them for the wrongs they committed to him and his family.

Heres Megan

Yes, when Chris dies. Sonichu was meant to be some kind of eternal franchise, so I don't think Chris ever actually planned an ending for it.
