Fucking hell. I remember a couple years ago when Mundane Fatt used to use OAG whenever he covered video game news. A couple of times I made the mistake of trying to gently correct His Mundanity in the comments - every damned time OAG started an argument with me. Apparently that was the only place his work was talked about, so he stalked the comments? I don't know.
Anyways, back then he was already obviously a bit... skewed, but the bullshit in the last few articles I've read just... They actually kinda make me cringe, you know? Like, actual cringe. Because just by playing games I feel like we've got at least one thing in common, and that's one thing too many. Someone might actually think we can be fairly lumped together.

They even announced her original outfit would be available. Let me guess, he complained because there isn't as much cleavage due to minor alterations as well.

Capcom officially announced that Resident Evil 3 is getting the remake treatment courtesy of the RE Engine for the Xbox One (along with Xbox One X enhancement support), the PlayStation 4, and on Steam for PC. The game will release on April 3rd, 2020.
Previously some rumors hinted at Capcom not having any new major Resident Evil announcements to make for the year, but Capcom threw in a swerve ball to give gamers something fresh to intake before the Christmas rush gets underway.
The announcement was made during the most recent PlayStation State of Play, where we were able to get a glimpse at the completely overhauled Jill Valentine and Carlos. You can check out the announcement trailer for the game below.
The composition of the trailer isn’t bad, but by Jove what did they do to Jill?
Previously she looked like a super model with a handgun. Now she looks… scraggly, scruffy, and unkempt.
As you can see, Jill no longer looks like a bombshell knockout; the kind of woman who was leagues above your own standards. Everyone already knew that she so hot that just like a Lolita trying to escape from Epstein Island with her virginity intact, there was no chance.
Now? If I saw her at a bar I wouldn’t even double-take.
Just compare her to her original model, Julia Voth, who looked like a model.
She was the kind of woman that you knew valued her looks and we valued them along with her.
As you can see, the big difference between the two is that Voth has far softer features. So even when they had her model appear in the previous games without makeup on, she looked feminine and… soft.
With the Resident Evil 3 Remake, you can very readily see that this new Jill Valentine is a lot rougher around the edges. Her cheekbones protrude more and have a stronger indentation leading down toward the jowl, creating a slightly more hardened look.
As pointed out by Noriyuki Works, Julia Voth’s Jill Valentine is still the most iconic, along with the tube top and mini-skirt.
Capcom abandoned that for the new game, opting to put Jill in more tactically-oriented casual clothes.
She’s sporting two layered tank tops along with full length jeans and leather boots.
Essentially she’s made to appeal to the modern day sensibilities of feminists, because a sexy, strong woman isn’t allowed to be front and center in a mainstream game anymore.
Now as a way to assuage some of the obvious protests that would emerge from actual gamers (you know, the people who buy games and play them and not the fake kind who crowd Twitter all day saying “oof”, and “yikes”, and “this ain’t it, chief” and “I stan with her”), Capcom also announced that there is a pre-order bonus going on right now featuring the classic Resident Evil 3 costumes for both Jill and Carlos.
I also find it funny that the image cuts off right at Jill’s thighs, so you can’t see where her mini-skirt stops.
There’s a whole lot of content wrangling going on to ensure that Jill, in no way, came across as sexually attractive in the trailer or the promotional material. A huge far cry from the old campy iterations of Resident Evil from the late 1990s and up through the mid aughts.
In any case, this was to be expected from Capcom, the same company that blamed European legislation for the censorship of Devil May Cry 5 on the PlayStation 4… even though the Xbox One and PC versions weren’t censored.
But if Resident Evil 2 Remake was anything to go by, the PC version is going to receive some really awesome, unforgettable mods… for Jill.
There is also another article where Billy believes Ai the Somnium Files failed to sell everywhere because of some LGBT commentary present at one point in the game and not because the game had little to marketing, and was up against heavy hitters in the same week it was released (in Japan, it was released at the same time as Link's Awakening on Switch and Ni No Kuni remake on PS4/Switch). Spike Chunsoft’s AI: The Somnium Files came out in mid September both in Japan and in the West for PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The adventure-themed visual novel was given high praise by the usual suspects, with outlets like Eurogamer and Screen Rant giving the game an uncontested seal of approval. However, despite nabbing an 86 out of 100 on MetaCritic, it wasn’t enough to compel gamers to pick up a copy.
And even though some outlets, such as GameCritics criticized the game for containing “oversexualization” for some of the female characters, it was still given the game journalist nod of approval, mostly because they liked the “diverse” characters, and the typical circlejerk of Lefties and Centrists on Twitter were head over heels for the game’s unabashed promotion of the Rainbow Reich, as captured in a clip by YouTuber JR
It was even confirmed by a writer from RPG Site that the hamfisted promotion of the LGBTQIA+ community was also apparent in the Japanese version of the game. So this wasn’t a case of Spike Chunsoft taking liberties with the material and writing in their own form of propaganda to own the gamers.
Of course, paying this kind of lip-service to people who spend all their time complaining about not receiving enough lip-service and almost none of their money and time on actually supporting the things they complain about, it resulted in AI: The Somnium Filesattempting to play into favoritism of a demographic who doesn’t buy games.
The game only managed to peak at 983 users during its initial launch back in September. The numbers only spiraled downward from there.
Over on Steam Spy it also seems to show that it has about 15,000 followers and between 20,000 and 50,000 owners.
There definitely seems to be a lot more traction for the game on PC than on home consoles, though. In the West the game only managed 78 user ratings on the PlayStation Store, and in Japan the game only managed 41 user ratings on the PlayStation Store.
So it definitely appears as if the Japanese cared even less for the game than Westerners.
However, the game has also yet to appear on any of the top charts from the NPD or GFK, so it’s not like it’s just failing to make Famitsu’s top spots, it’s failing to make any chart… globally.
That being said, if a game decides to get woke and the numbers end up being paltry and unremarkable that means only one thing… it’s earned a spot on the Get Woke, Go Broke Master List.

Of course being overshadowed would cause it to tank in sales. It's even funnier when it's literally one scene that you don't have to do and the rest of the game is according to a few, actually based.
He might have started on GG's side, but I think he's changed and decided to make the rest of them look even worse than they are. He became a plant I think. If GG has any hopes of getting any credibility then the rest of the community needs to do some spring cleaning by shutting out and disassociating dickheads such as Bill. Billy is recently projecting his own dishonesty into others as he's been getting backlash for his often lack of accuracy on his articles
I was gonna say that for a guy who want to call out and mock a lolcow, he sure acts like him (see the recent comments in the persona 5 news from nichegamer in particular)
And if you really want to find dirt on Gamezard, you could get a more pertinent example such as he's a big casual who uses SAM ( there are plenty of other instances I've found on his steam account) despite all of his spergy talks on all gaming websites where he boasts himself as a hardcore gamer. Participation trophies are gay in general imo, but if he wants to proudly display his achievement completion rate in public then he shouldnt be a cheater.

I've made it fairly clear over the time I've been here thus far that I don't agree with the modern progressive left and took great joy in seeing the Tories thrash the Labour Party in the UK election just gone.
Would it hurt for Bill to at least look at one interview regarding the recent RE Remakes? He'd find that Capcom went with a more realistic aesthetic for them, which meant that there would be outfit changes. Most RE fans accepted that Jill's outfit would most likely change as well.
Talking like the degenerates on OAG (Including Bill) so they can understand what I'm about to say for one second: "No skirt means you get to see Jill's ass in jeans, in HD." I mean, you got to concede that she still has a nice ass... (I'm sorry about that.)
