To be fair, Mexico is statistically more obese than the United States. So I would imagine the Mexican doctors have at least some decent level of experience performing gastric bypass surgeries.

It's a shame though that Wings isn't 200 pounds bigger. I would have loved to see Dr. Nowzaradan get a hold of him.

He didn't do any research himself; his mother was the one who planned and organized the whole thing. Apparently she has arranged this kind of thing before for other relatives

Not to bump a dead thread or anything, but I gotta say that there are few other lolcows out there I've seen A-logged to the point that it makes the SoK somehow look good in comparison.

I'd agree with you but it's easy to see why; because people feel like he robbed them, making them bitter enough to A-log. Wings collected $20,000 exclusively for the surgery but cheeped out and went to Mexico costing him around $7k. He's got $13,000 now in his bank account minus other expenses and he's using the money to elongate his man-child existence. From the highlight channels he claims the money is a "nest egg" in-case something goes wrong or "blood-work", even at one point saying it would go to his education fund.

Despite all that I'm still kinda surprised there isn't a community thread for the WingsofRedemption A-logs and trollshielders, but on the other hand, Wings hasn't (intentionally) tried to kill himself yet, nor has their trolling turned into multi-dimensional Russian hooker chess as it did with DSP. It's more or less like that point in Chris trolling around 2009-2011 or so, when it was starting to wear down and all the great sagas were over and done with, and people started getting genuinely mean-spirited to a pretty disturbing degree.

I'm not saying Wings doesn't have it coming, considering that his positive characteristics could probably be counted on an amputee's arm stumps, but for whatever reason the Wings A-logs don't sit well with me, especially since for the most part they don't really fuck with Wings in entertaining ways anymore. Then again, Wings has pretty much cut out as many potential avenues of trolling as possible; doing fewer game streams and more boring lifestreams, moderating the chat like Goebbels, not putting up any material on Youtube because he doesn't understand at all how content curation works on the website...

I dunno, man. Maybe looking into the Wings trolls might elicit some more interesting content. Wings himself is basically every failure-to-launch Southern fagwad in the US, but one who managed to brush elbows with some stars that now fade to blue. The fact that nothing of note happened in around a month is pretty indicative of how tiring Wings content can truly be.

Wings has just played it safe. Less gaming = less griefing. His gaming has less people falling for bait to to him and he has hit that point of depression.

Powerleveling here but when playing LoL i used to get really mad at trolls, that turned to depression. I would sigh and just tell myself "why did i expect anything else", feel a little down and log off shortly after. He has been at this stage for a while now and its not fun to observe.

He has hit up dsp to do a collab which should be...interesting. Alogs from both of them might discover the other

He's not streaming because he probably doesn't need to. He has 13k to live off and has paid off the house, the need to make more money isn't there yet so it's not worth braving the trolls when he's already secure. Over the last few months the streams just stopped being funny and less people were hate donating.

@NoStinkingBadges Who are the more aggressive A-logs btw/ what have they done? I'm only familiar with Sean Ranklin and Lord of the Wings but they just post highlights of the streams. I know Sean Ranklin has a discord server which is probably a mecca of Asperges since discord servers usually are.

Its the same for literally every Wings meme. Somehow he never learned the age old adage of "don't feed the trolls." Hell it's not even that he didn't learn it, he actively argues against it as if it's anyone's fault but his own that these sausages continue to sperg on him.

Not to mention that being called "Richard" is hardly that offensive to begin with. I wouldn't get assblasted if people started calling me "Steve" or any other such name.
