I think its a mix of both. Sony like most other major Corporations hire people who don't speak English very well to work their hotlines. It sounds like the troll pretended to be wings convinced whoever he was on on the phone with that it was his account and he was able to get all the information and access to it from there. I can't recall but I think wings only had a two step verification in place to order to access the account which if he has 10k worth of purchases he really does have 62 IQ.

The unfortunate thing about that last video is that some of the guys in there legitimately could talk circles around Wings and were picking apart his excuses. But the problem is that those guys never get a one on one with him.
