Phil's an idiot, but he handled the podcast perfectly. Keem bugged him, Phil only cared about making big money, Keem was shady about giving him big money, Phil told him to fuck off while Keem pointlessly trolled him for months afterward and Phil is watching all this implode.
Keem said he would give them 50K upfront. I've never heard DSP say that he agreed and asked for the 50K and then Keem wouldn't give it to him. Granted I don't exactly watch much DSP content, but. I find it hard to argue that he shouldn't have at least tried and asked. Worst case scenario is either A, Keem won't give the 50K like he said which would be an actual good talking point ("he wouldn't give me the 50K he was talking about so I fucked off"), or B, Keem actually pays him 50K, then if he doesn't like doing the show he can just find an excuse to quit after a month or two and he made 50K for nothing.
I get that the podcast is a trash fire and working with Keemstar might not be appealing but it seems retarded to turn down an easy 50K when you've literally made begging for money into your "career." DSP just has the common lolcow trait that he won't leave his comfort zone or expose himself to any uncertainty, ever, not even for lots of money or other potential big payoffs.
They made 2k last night in just superchats. You could tell Wings was really salty about that when he was streaming before he joined the podcast, I think that's part of the reason he decided to to show up as well. The Show definitely has protentional to make a shit load of money, especially if they can pay for some other lolcows to come on and for another farmers vs cows episode. Literally Wings is ruining the entire podcast by being a thin skinned bitch. He isn't going to let Keem bring on anyone that dislikes him after the Gunt Shit show and wants to ban everyone in the chat that makes fun of him now. I don't see the podcast being a success at all if Keem ends up giving into wings demands and making him Mod which I'm like 80% sure he's going to do.
I was thinking the same thing i.e. Wings is still hanging around because as much as he bitched about not getting paid for the first couple months, he has actually made money from the pod now, and he knows he can make more money from it. And unlike Phil he has enough functional brain cells to understand that he needs that money and he should take it. He's just having an inner battle between that side of him and the lolcow side of him.
No matter what happens, I can promise you the show won't turn into Richard's streams where he sits there pouting banning everything in sight with no content and it's just boring as fuck. That's because Keem has too much gnome rage to let that happen. Every other week Keem has had a sperg out about how the show is too boring or has no content or etc. Keemstar's ridiculously aggressive personality which makes him unlikeable in many situations is an asset here when it comes to pushing back against Wings. Even still just now I looked on the Reddit and it's nothing but shitting on Wings including a meme of Wings dressed as an SS officer and an old shawk jawk clip of Wings talking about rape, it's not moderated at all lol.
If Jordie keeps demanding too much control and censorship we will probably just get more drama content centered around that until either Keem or Wings quits, probably it will be Wings. Maybe that will be shit content in a different way but it won't be a Wings stream where everything is boring and turbo censored like he wants.
