Very late but I brought myself to watch the Wings007 debate in the Lolcow Live and holy fuck, it was a cringe fest.

That wigger still hasn't recovered from that and from what I remember, he's still seething on Discord about it, but yeah, it was great to see how smug he was before that, portraying himself as this smooth James Bond pepe spamming the cringe toast emoji, only to get utterly BTFO and ridiculed.

I hate to be that guy, and I'm not trying to convince anyone that Wings isn't a pedophile because that alone shits up the thread, but the quote is "I did say the age of consent should be 12". I say this because people often misquote it as "I think the age of consent should be 12" for whatever reason.

Now, to give Wings the slightest bit of credit, I believe he was trying to explain why he used to believe that, but in doing so he ended up sounding like he was doubling down. Needless to say, that was incredibly retarded and he shouldn't have said that. i was wondering how wings was going to get out fat camp and it seems like the seed has been planted. wings apparently threatened to shoot someone at fat camp and now people are backing out because they "dont feel safe". on top of a threat to shoot someone he also threatened to pepper spray someone else. keem is saying that out of liability he cannot allow wings to go because if wings goes and does something to someone keem would be legally responsible. keem explicitly states that wings is now "banned" from attending the fat camp. as of now this is how the situation stands, if this changes in the future it is obviously yet to be seen but wings weaseling his way out of the fat camp (again) was the most likely / obvious outcome of this. only time will tell now.

While people always must act with reasonable care to avoid harming others, there is no general duty to act to save people from other harmful sources. There is, for example, no duty to warn a pedestrian of oncoming traffic. Still, a duty to act can be created by statute or relationship or when one’s action creates the dangerous situation. For example, inviting a motherfucker to brony con or a potential mass shooter to fat camp.

It isn't in Keem's relationship to wings that the duty is created, but in the relationship between himself and the other attendees at the camp. If by allowing it to happen knowingly or rather in this case, facilitating it entirely, he opens himself up to the tort of Negligence and could be held criminally or more easily civilly responsible.

Edit: To clarify, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Minnesota have Duty to Act laws which I personally find reprehensible.

I know that all the Lolcow offshoots are scripted crap, but BB's latest video grabbed me. The old Wings lore doesn't come up much in most highlight channels of today, so I got a bit nostalgic at Kelly's questioning of the 'OK symbol' gesture that Wings did when he first said 'APPEARING OFFLINE DOES NOT FUCKING STOP IT!', because that was my exact same reaction to that moment when I first saw that clip, too.

I'm not keeping up with all the Lolcow shit unless it comes up on Breaking Banquet. What the fuck even are half these shows anyway? Queens I already knew about, but 'nerd'? I thought I saw 'tech' the other day as well. And who the fuck are these people on the panel? Are they meant to be fellow lolcows? This content-farm-ification of cowdom is getting weird.

for anyone wondering he has already uninstalled MK. banquets videos are a couple of days behind but you can watch it here:

this video perfectly encapsulates why wings gets the hate he does now. we can sit here and debate the validity of what hes said in the past and if he meant it or not but the reality is that even if you remove all of that from the equation and base your opinion of him on his current streams its impossible to like this guy. a quick rundown of the MK saga is as follows: he installs the game, doesnt practice or learn combos then goes right into ranked and gets molly whopped every single game. he then complains about the game being broken, whines about people that can actually play beating him and then rage quits. his biggest pissbaby complaint is that people learn how to string together combos and he cant so in his mind its unfair. this goes on for a while and he eventually uninstalls it, doesnt change the title of his stream (so people join thinking theyre going to see MK and instead get his shit COD gameplay) and then the ban wave begins. he sits there (amidst a ton of dead air, nice stream richard you fat cock sucker) and of course begins woe as meing as usual blaming his chat for his problems. he whines about how chat makes fun of him for rage quitting CONSTANTLY, whines about how hes not hitting his donation goal (begging), whines about how its not his fault that hes terrible at the game and my personal favorite, whines about his chat ruining his streams. he actually states, not verbatim, that his chat has negative energy and that when he goes to other streams people are happy to be there and fun to interact with.

if you skip ahead in the video to 8:40, and take note that this is directly after he whined about the chat, you can see a commenter by the name of "OmniCat" make a very matter of fact statement. OmniCat says that other streamers have good energy and thats why the chats positive there and that a lot of the time wings doesnt even say thank you for donations. of course this a very valid comment put in a neutral way and perfectly explains why wings chat is always full of negativity. does wings read this and absorb it? does wings answer this person and respond with his viewpoint? nope. he reads the comment and immediately has his mods ban him (its interesting to note that the janny faggot banned Omni before wings asked for them to be banned, as if the jannies already know that wings cant take criticism in ANY way).

for anyone here who is unfamiliar with wings or only knows him from LCL and cant grasp why hes considered a lolcow or why he gets the hate he gets this should sum it up. a 40 something year old ungrateful internet begging man baby piece of garbage who puts 0 effort into his streams and then expects people to give him money for it. the cherry on top is that hes even a piece of shit to his "fans", often insulting them, berating them, and banning them. wings deserves what he puts into his streaming and thats nothing. he should be standing in line at a soup kitchen. entitled, fat, narcisstic, fat, abusive and fat. fuck wingsofredemption. thats it for my mad at the internet rant.

What needs to happen is people need to start playing as reptile, the only character wings plays, so you could embarrass him in the mirror match, that way, the playing field is completely level and his one excuse of "These characters are too strong and they combo so easy"
He will have little else to blame, except maybe their connection or how much longer they've been playing, but it should be noted just how much wings touts "that guy wasnt better than me hes just using a gimmick"
also something i notice, wings is super easily baited in MK, he always jabs or 5Ls on wake up and out of shield, its a really common read and he gets punished for it regularly, and it gets sad when he sits there and whines about how easy a combo is for how much health it takes away when he refuses to practice combos himself
And this isnt a fighting game with TODs as far as i know, this is a somewhat well balanced modern fighter with alot of mechanics and characters that have lots of customization and optimization to do. he refuses to do any of that, and would rather whine about how good a combo is or about how unfair super armor on high frame attacks is
