Wings trolling has been mostly dead for some time now. He is one of the most self-aware cows and he has learned from most of his mistakes, making it pretty difficult/boring to try and troll him nowadays. I've even seen him joining in on meme like "solid piece of muscle" from Lummox's channel and saying "look here look listen" as a joke. Richard is too likable now for trolling and I think a lot of people (me included) watch the troll compilations semi-unironically just to watch Richard do his thing.

Wings is still the same lazy piece of shit he’s always been except now he’s zoinked out of his mind on Lexapro. I dunno if you have troll’s remorse or something but he is not self aware nor likeable by any stretch of the imagination. He has not learned from his mistakes but rather he cannot make those same mistakes due to the Lexapro. He gave up his own emotional autonomy because he couldn’t control himself.

Are the current “troll community” cringe and childish? Absolutely. They think and act similarly to Wings and it’s a delicious irony. Just because their actions are pathetic doesn’t mean Wings is suddenly cool or self aware.

i think wings has for the most part managed to get rid of those childish outbursts from ~2018 like the imfamous "gets stream sniped and loses it" video, but hasn't improved himself at all. I've been watching Wings' highlight clips on YouTube every now and then since Christmas. He's not raging anymore, but he's still having his mods ban people who upset him.

From what I remember he lucked into a very high paying job early in life, got fired from it due to the economy, then lucked into people giving him money for vidya/podcasting/charity for a decade.
