Fuuuuuuck! It's not just the sense of entitlement these assholes have, it's the disrespect they have for their parents.

I'll be the first to say that my folks and I have not always gotten along. We've had our disagreements and fights and everything. I felt they were too controlling, they felt I needed guidance.

In hindsight, they were right. I can't deny that they had, what they felt, were my best interests at heart.

But the third one just fascinates me. His parents kick him out, becomes a complete wasteoid probably giving handjobs in the park to get some money for food, "accidentally" runs into them and lays his sob story on them to set the seeds and then later when he "accidentally" runs into them again said he was suicidal.

If only he put that much effort into getting a job. The mind just boggles.

The one that gets me is lying on the floor of his room for two days and refusing to eat.

This is a grown-ass man.

The recent brouhaha concerning that board is entirely unwarranted.

Thank you for proving my point in this thread and with the ban that expired today.

I mean, I think that even if your point is supposedly proven, nobody's really gonna listen or take you seriously regardless.

A man with the inevitability or desire to become a wizard who has had no sexual experiences.
....Why would anyone desire to be one?

Shame they don't get out more. They'd be a blast at parties.

I'd say that they'd be Buzz Killington incarnate but that'd be unfair to Buzz. Victoriana is so awesome and if it's a story about how Brunel came floating in on a girder to support Stephenson in his building of the Brittania Bridge then count me in... Actually my bf used similar stories to keep me captivated. :heart-full:

A wizard at a party would be an interesting situation: They'd show up dressed in an anime/vidyja shirt (waifu pillow optional), if they didn't shower, no one would want to stand within 20 feet of them. If anyone tried to initiate conversation, they'd probably get a look of contempt because they're "Normalfag Scum". When they see the "pretty girl" flirting with the "pretty boy", they'd go into an open tirade about how society is unfair to people like him. Then, after they've eaten most of the food and drank most of the booze, they get finally get the boot and go home to complain on Wizardchan, who then call him "normalfag" for having gone to the party in the first place.

Buzz Killington would be far less loathsome company. Probably more entertaining, to boot.

Sounds about right. They'd definitely find SOMETHING to complain about.
...Oh god, the pillow imagery.

I'm curious, what are your thoughts on the wizardchan topic about lucid dreams that involve an overwhelming amount of posters who admit that all they want to do in their dreams is rape something?

Or your thoughts on the topic about people who use emotional manipulation to have their parents provide for them well into adulthood before they come onto wizardchan and laugh about how easy said parents are to manipulate?

Feel free to be happy about whatever "point" you think you've proven.

I'll be happy knowing that I don't willingly associate with wannabe rapists.

Also, I think anyone who posts in favour of evolution should be banned.

Evolution hates us. Evolution is the force that wants to destroy us, and wipe our genes out of the gene pool. Evolution only supports normalfags, allowing them to multiply and spread their disease.

Evolution wants us dead, eradicated and forgotten forever. If evolution was a friend of Wizards, we would be having sex and multiplying, spreading our genes. Evolution is our enemy, and really we should be thinking up ways to organize ourselves politically and scientifically to figure out ways to work against it.

Evolution is what wants to wipe out our noble, wizardly genes, while encouraging normalfag genes to virulently spread like the disease that they are.

Never forget that.
wait how do they expect to spread "noble, wizardly genes" when the act of doing so would inherently contradict wizardry

We have comradeship, honour and dignity. Women have none of these things, they always compete and they can never be true friends to each other, they sell their Body because its the easy way out, they stick to us men because we're the Leaders,
we're the Main Protags while they're just some annoying Sidekick in our awesome Adventures.
Woman have to rely on their looks hoping they make it somehow, while we can be whatever we want to be.
For a moment, I thought I was on TheRedPill.

Mary Shelley, Helen Keller, Joan of Arc, Marie Curie, and Temple Grandin would like a word.

I did not see the topic in question concerning lucid dreaming, but I will say that certain posters seek to muddy the waters. Therefore, anything posted on there, as anywhere else, ought to be taken with a generous measure of salt. Furthermore, there is a difference between imagining something and actually doing it.

Concerning the manipulation - while I do not endorse such tactics myself, I will say that I shed no tears for baby boomers, whose generation has seen the ruin of the western economies, and who stands to reap a windfall from the Social Security ponzi scheme.

It was not my generation that kept ratcheting up the minimum wage so that unskilled labour cannot compete and gain experience. I used to wash dishes at a Chinese restaurant for $3/hr cash because that was the only work I could find.

Nor was it my generation who founded a government education cartel that has seen fit to send tuitions in to the stratosphere, and if that was not enough, to require that in order to receive a diploma in one field, one must take entirely unrelated classes. It is highway robbery writ large.

Therefore, concerning the pitfalls, I will not hold manipulation of parents against them. It is, after all, their parents who begot them, so it is reasonable that they be supported by them if they are unable to support themselves. The unemployment rate in the United States, if measured using pre-1994 methodologies, is a staggering 23%, and I do not think one can be reasonably expected to get a job right out of high school against those odds.

Addendum - it is the norm in a good part of the world, including Italy and Spain, for one to live with his parents until marriage. It would seem that the norm concerning booting people out at age 18 is rooted in this absurd Protestant mythos.

Do they pride themselves on being male because they have nothing else going for them? Sure, historically men have have had much of the limelight, but it doesn't really mean a whole lot. I think the thought of a strong, independent, and ambitious woman frightens them because it embodies everything they could never be into something which they claim to loathe, but still want (like sour grapes), and can never get in their position.

So emotional manipulation is completely okay because of what a generation did? Also, they cannot support themselves because they don't want to. You mentioned working a shit job, because you had to. Then shouldn't wizards do that as well?

Yes, concerning manipulation, not coercion. To the willing there is no injury.

Working a job as I did was illegal because it violated the minimum wage law. It is one thing to think they should have to work such a job, it is another to act on such an opinion, especially because such vacancies are very quickly filled at $7,25/hr. If there were a free labour market, I would argue that they should have to find work, but because of this country's odious labour laws among other travesties that have wrecked the economy, I cannot fault someone for not finding work.
