Normals generally follow the "rules" of society, they go to college/trade school, get a job, find a wife, do the whole "2.5 kids/cars, a dog, and a picket fence" thing. "Normalcools" do this successfully. "Normaluncools" aspire to follow this plan, but ultimately fail, or succeed in a pyhrric way.

Abnormals generally do not follow the rules of society. These are the gang members, the drug dealers, the junkies, and the carders. The "cools" of this group are, chiefly, the ones who manage to avoid prison, and secondarily, the ones who are socially adept enough to actually have friends and romantic interests.
