Words & Phrases DSP Has Invented or Misuses - DSP'isms that make you say "HUUUHN?!?"

I was about to be floored that Phil is so entitled that he gets pissed over not having the option of using a word wrong constantly without anyone pointing it out, but then I remember that he's the same fucking idiotic douchebag who is still bitching about a sandwich because it had too much mayo on it.

I can understand why Jaha changed his mind about beating Phil up, but I'm not Jaha. Someone can cower before me all they want, I'm not ignoring it when I know that, on top of what they're going to say about ME from a safe distance, they've threatened to smack a little girl once she was out of earshot. In fact, it makes me want to hit them harder.

Good thing we'll never cross paths.

Looking at PigPigGo, Phil went a good while without using penultimate.

Someone cheered to make fun of the setting+tone of Tell Me Why, suggesting that Joel from TLoU would show up playing a guitar. Phil said, "That would be, I think, the penultimate hipster thing to happen."

Chat got on his case for his continued misuse and Phil replied, " You're right: I use the word penultimate incorrectly. I'm sorry. I apologize everyone. People are very offended I used the word penultimate incorrectly."

More, being sarcastic and bitchy: "Alright, I will never use penultimate again. I will take penultimate out of my vocabulary 'cause I always use it wrong. There you go. I hope you guys are pleased with yourselves. Thanks a lot."

That was September last year. He went mum until earlier this year when prompted by SnowKarl. SnowKarl pretty much tossed Phil a softball and Phil completely whiffed, it's absurd. Phil: "No, this is not the penultimate mission. There's one more after this, SnowKarl. This is the next to last mission of the game."

Then on Halloween, Derich asked Phil which was his favorite costume. "Out of all the Halloween outfits I wore... Lemme think about this. I think Colonel Sanders is probably, like, the penultimate one over the last few years."
This guy needs to stop looking at big words in the dictionary and ignoring the definition next to them.

Another oldie and goodie: "Context"

Real definition: All the relevant circumstances around a statement or action, especially ones which significantly change how a viewer would interpret them.

Example: "This is an article from 'The Onion', it's just out of context because someone photoshopped a 'New York Times' header onto it".

Phil definition: The exact set of carefully selected circumstances that distracts from Phil's bad behavior.

Example: "Yes I pretended to be a Nazi and made pedo jokes in the 'Dead Space 2' demo, but you have to remember the khantext - Howard Stern made a Nazi joke once, so why aren't you mad at him?".

You can literally show him a clip of him saying something that even he knows is wrong and he'll claim it was taken out if context. To him, it's just a convenient excuse to ignore something he previously said.

You can point to an entire stream where he claimed something and he'll say it's out of khantekst. Apparently you need to watch his entire video library and have a full grasp of the PP Burnell Legendarium lore in order to know the khantekst behind him for example telling that he'd slap a 11 year old girl if he ever met her in real life because she called him an idiot in a video game. The only example I can think of of a thing that is truly taken out of khantekst is one claim that sometimes gets attached to that fateful day where he cemented his internet presence forever by becoming The Guy. Aluddapeepol say that after 'baitin' he went straight to some hardcore gaming and that's just not true, after he finished he did leave for a while to clean up, most clips of The Incident leave that out.

This is true, I speak as someone who, for quite awhile, didn't know that there actually was a span of time between him finishing and him realizing that the camera was on the whole time. For the exact reason you mentioned, all the footage you come across edits that out.

Of course, it doesn't much matter that people leave it out because he's going to be The Guy anyway, thanks to the legit small span of time that occurred between Phil jerking it on stream and Keemstar alerting people to the fact on his Twitter. Which is the only reason Phil didn't memory-hole it happening, let's be honest.

Probably been brought up before but he says the word 'stave' in a way I have never heard anyone pronounce it. He pronounces the 'sta' like you do in 'stab'.

Also burning bridges, Phils definition: Company rightfully fires you for repeated verbal harassment and abuse of your audience and gives you a reason for it that you play retard on all while you call said company shitty scumbags.

Actual definition: Burning bridges means eliminating every possibility of return or retreat.

Really makes me wonder how he treated people when he had a job.

Out of context. In Phil's mind, anything "out of context" is video and/or photographic evidence of him saying or doing something that counteracts what he THINK happened. Ex. "I wanted to hit an 11 year old girl? Didn't happen." If you bring up the video of him getting punked by an 11 year old girl, but the moment he leaves the room, Phil goes "Good, now I'm away from that annoying bitch of a kid who I've would've slapped in real life if she talked to me like that." *seal laugh* "I would've pimp slapped the shit out of her..." Phil: "That video was taken out of context."

What out of context REALLY means!

Out of context: Without the surrounding words or circumstances and so not fully understandable.

Hi, Phil!

Not to pick a fight, but I'm skeptical of anything Phil appears to not understand when it's more likely that he just pretends not to for responsibility-evading purposes. For example, he didn't put up a fight when Twitch kicked him from the partnership program, meaning he probably knew it was a waste of time because he knew he had fucked up. Him saying THEY burned a bridge is, to me, Phil simply tossing the painful truth away from himself as possible by pretending that he did nothing wrong and so Twitch is the villain. When he knows that isn't the case.

This goes especially for the old "taken out of context", because there is not a single instance of the context being applied to ANYTHING Phil says or does that's just plain wrong, where the context does anything but make it worse. Especially with the "I would smack that kid in real life", because when you watch the whole clip from start to finish, you find out WHY he asserted that that's what he would do in person (which, if you know about Phil, is utter horse shit to begin with), as well as WHEN he started talking shit (further cementing that he is indeed a pussy).

I've said before, Phil is only alive right now because that girl didn't hear him, and therefore couldn't inform her parents of what he said. And you know he knows it because of how far he goes to deny that that moment ever happened.
