Don't forget, he's outstanding in his field.Just today he used the phrase "laying horizontally"
As opposed to what? Laying vertically? That's called standing.

tbf, i don't think his use of 'on demand' is pointless because almost everything is on demandI also hate when he uses "on demand".
This is a term used by the big television companies in the early 2000's, and it's dumb. You wanted to watch the newest episode of Everyone Loves Raymond but you were busy playing bingo? With TiVo you can watch your favorite boomer shows "On Demand"!
With today's technology, almost everything is "on demand" so the term is pointless.
But how else will he put prestige on sitting on a couch and squinting at video games.tbf, i don't think his use of 'on demand' is pointless because almost everything is on demand
it's because content like his is on demand by default

To be fair, his “office” (read: playroom) would qualify as a hyperbolic chamber.Okay, it took me 2 months to calm my tits over this one because it was just.. omg he's such an embarrassing dullard it's like a meat hammer to the babymaker sometimes.. even when you're used to him. I hammered out half a page of autisms at the time & baleeted it. But;
"HYPERBOLIC CHAMBER."
Hyper. Bhalick. Chamber.
And he didn't even stop there. DSciencePhd. extrapolated on what they are & what they do.
I'd post the pigpig link but if I have to see or hear it again I'll go squirrel nuts again.
I looked to see how YouTube translates this.The way he says “guy-guh” instead of giga annoys me.

That's kind of hard to do since his words and phrases mean whatever Phil wants them to mean and can retroactively change.Is there a single google doc or website that has all these words in one place? It could be really helpful for people new to DSP to be able to check in one place what he means when he says things like "hardcore gaming season", "alottapeepul", "no load". Phrases that are either meaningless to normal people, or have a totally different meaning when spoken by this fuckwit. Basically a DSP dictionary.
Deliberately mispronouncing things can enhance a joke but is rarely funny on its own (unless someone else gets mad about it). I don't think Paul is smart enough to be doing it on purpose, though.Chat must have also questioned his pronunciation and Phil weakly explained it's because he likes saying it that way.
It's a distancing tactic (although I doubt he's doing it intentionally). Makes anything in the past seem super far off and no longer relatable.I love that he always says "a million yearis ago," it's like he knows he's a living fossil.![]()
