Words & Phrases DSP Has Invented or Misuses - DSP'isms that make you say "HUUUHN?!?"

Not sure if this has already been said but "Ghost of SUSHI-MA"

Of course he doesn't know what a Karen is, haha, I bet he thinks those women are acting perfectly normal if it weren't for their masks.
-Philip......what are you doing?
-
Playing ghosts of sushi - ma
-Well stop playing with your food.

How has no one corrected his "Nip it in the butt"?
I'm pretty sure he has been. I distinctly remember a clip of him replying to the correction with, "Nuh Uhh! 'Cus you gotta nip that shit in the BUTT! Right in the butt."
Edit: He had it explained to him May 11, 2020. "I thought it was like a dog, like how a dog 'Nips it in the butt'." I remember a different instance though :|

In the recent stream, he was talking about the impact of his "career" on his daily eating/meal schedule. But he repeatedly explained it in terms of his "feeding" or "daily feeding", like he's literally a pig that is getting fattened on slops.

Just saw this in Snort Burnell's most recent upload. I don't know if this is part of his Apology Fetish or if this is a separate fetish he has for being vindicated, but I never cease to be amused by a) how often he uses variations of the phrase "Did Nothing Wrong" and b) how often he puts the phrase in the mouths of others.

Sometimes DSP's laugh sounds like Skull from Power Ranger's laugh. It's a really weird laugh given that clearly the actor doing it is doing an exaggeration, meanwhile DSP just sometimes laughs like this (usually when he fails at a video game notably so maybe it's a fake laugh he does to make the situation seem absurd?).

Phil's real laugh is the classic "Ack Ack Ack" that everyone makes fun of. The evidence of this is found by watching old videos where he is genuinely having fun with Rambo and the video of him cracking up hysterically at the sex scene in that South Park game.

Since people make fun of his stupid seal laugh, he has invented many fake laughs. The "huhuhuh" goat laugh, the "tssss" snake laugh, and as maybe we should call it now, the "Aheeheehee" Skull laugh.

These laughs are fake and are produced to give the impression that Phil is really having fun. We know he's not. The stuff happening on screen is not funny. My personal favorite moment I think he was playing Outer Worlds and said, "Look a waterfall, huhuhuh". How is a waterfall funny? Why would a waterfall make you laugh? He laughed because it is his way of pretending he is enjoying his successful adult life.

Fake laughing is also a way of adding to whatever argument he is making by making it seem ridiculous. For example,he dies in a game and while/after making excuses he starts fake laughing as if saying "this game is so poorly designed its funny *fake laughs* ". He also does it while talking about detractors as if they were so insane its funny.

In a way its like people that laugh at their own jokes to signal that you should laugh too.

Meaningful

1. Sentence filler.
2. Implies importancy where is none.
3. Ironically a meaningless word in DSP's case. Meaning is extremely subjective anyway.

Humans: This word is used as a substitute of the word "person" or "people".

Example: "You are a annoying human"

I think he does this because Phil is with autism and at some level he understands that using language that is more specific makes you sound smarter but doesnt quite understand context is important so he says human because human=more specific than person, and therefore that will make him sound smarter in his mind even though there is no reason for using that word and it makes him sound like an alien.

I've always got the impression that it was primarily supposed to lighten the mood of whatever he's saying, rather than to make him sound smart. Instead of coming off as whiny, there's a small incongruous aspect to his speech that indicates he's not totally invested, like adding "lol" to the end of a complaint.

I dont agree,he uses in situations where that doesnt apply for example "humans will do the irrational stupid thing" why use humans instead of people?
Another example: "Phil when was the last time you played against someone in person?
Phil: "mmmmm the last I played against a human in person..."
In those cases he is not doing it to try to sound detached,in the first case he used human instead of people for no reason and in the second he added human for no reason as well,he cloud have said "the last time I played against someone in person?" but decided to add human to that sentence because????

I think it's just a habit at this point, that he doesn't notice and wouldn't do anything about if he did, just like all his other habits.

I wonder if his consistent verbosity is a result of his education. It's not a terribly uncommon trait to have, but the fact he's also so god damn dumb makes it really stand out.
It's less about education and more to do with filling space. As has been discussed and observed time and time again, Dave can't just do mundane shit. Everything needs to be more grandiose than it really is to make up for how sad his life actually is.

- Went to H&R Block for some tax shit? NOPE. "I have to pay my tax attorney slash tax lawyer a bunch of money to put me on a payment plan that is gonna cost me THOUSANDS OF DAHLLARS!"
- Threw something in the oven or crockpot for dinner? NOPE. "My wife created a custom one of a kind home made hand crafted delicious gourmet meal, complete with family recipe sauce and cooked to perfection."
- Ran (waddled) to the store for milk and bread? NOPE. "I spent all day with my family, grocery shopping, having quality time away from my shtreems to do all the things that need to get done on my real adult mature day off."
- Not to mention his over-reliance on words like 'Robust' or his insistence on referring to himself as a 'mature adult' or the 'realest dood on the internet'. Dave can't get over the fact that he's a stunted man-child and has to used a trumped up lexicon (most of it used incorrectly, hence why we have this thread here) in order to come off as sounding intelligent to his child audience.

He's literally incapable of just doing "stuff." His day is filled with nothing but nonsense and could be summed up in very few words: "I woke up, crapped, gave myself a whore's bath, ate food, played video games, drank a bunch of gin, went to bed." However, instead of how plain that all sounds he has to mix in tons of words to create this illusion of having a lot more going on in his sheltered world.
