What an absolute bunch of nothing this is going to be.

Jen is literally just a nobody who worked for Activision helping pump out Tony Hawk and Skylanders games and was only promoted to Blizzard to try and put a woman infront of the controversy (aka Ellen Pao). The idea of her being productive at a studio is pretty laughable.
John Donham is just another nobody who has been buried over at Amazon's video game department and was tangentally related to 2003's Star Wars Galaxies - so literally nothing of value in close to 15 years.
Jay Allen Brack was president of Blizzard and the cause of many of their major controversies. The banning of Blitzchung, the constant China pandering, the shift of Diablo to a phone game, OW's horriffic development hell - these are all things that happened under his watch. If I were serious about launching a game studio, I'd want his name as far away as possible from it.

If I was serious about making a studio that was looking to confront toxicity and mental health issues - I would not even dream of having someone from Blizzard on board when they produced some of the most toxic games ever released to market.

It's crazy make a good game and break records, Elden Ring, Resident Evil 4 or 8 fuuck even Bethesda realise this ethos but no Blizzard and former Blizzard.

These people are such a low population in a video game and let's be real Twitter people don't even buy it unless it's pokemon or Animal Crossing.

I looked at the 10.1 and this is the patch that is supposed to keep players or bring the ones that were curious in. Nothing looks remotely interesting as I was going to wait til there is more content but the story looks trash and when you bring 10-year-old bosses back, I lose any drive to return.

Is she even an active character anymore? I know she was around for Legion because people were turbo horny for her but past that I thought she was largely irrelevant. Shit even her armor is old.

I remember ages ago people would cosplay her at conventions and Blizz even hired a cosplay booth babe to dress as her at some con. How much has changed in a decade, where we have to have all female video game characters in burkas but at the same time we must respect perverts in wigs "reading books" to kids and OnlyFans is a career choice.

Shame Blizz fist fucked Scarlet Crusade lore so thoroughly, that the chances of ever seeing them again are nil.

They had so much potential of being the morally grey faction who were willing to do what has to be done to stop the scourge, but Blizz just turned them into incompetent retards being manipulated by the Legion and then fade into obscurity as all the characters with any story content jumped ship and just become death knights.

It would had been interesting to see better written Scarlet Crusade and Argent Dawn ideologically clash. SC working as the counter balance to the more idealistic and perhaps naive AD. But instead Blizz just turned them into retarded lunatics who'll kill anything they see, living or dead.

Alexstrasza and Whitemane were also very popular to cosplay as, back in the day. I'm not sure if their newer designs will be the same way though.

I really was shocked to see HOTS Whitemane actually look sexually charged. It was the only art team that seemed to not be afraid of their old over the top art style. Thankfully Whitemane is (as far as I know) dropped off the face of the earth after being made one of the new Four Horsemen in Legion. She might show up sometimes but I doubt she'll see relevance.

Really they should stop reviving characters who died in general. Make up something new you sad sacks.

The whole "bringing back dead characters, just because" deal is to the point that I find more appreciation for characters that have died, and managed to stay dead. Tychus Findlay in StarCraft 2, despite the issues that game's story has, is one example.

I really thought his appearance in HOTS was a hint they were gonna bring him back as a Zerg puppet. Glad they didn't. He somehow ended up having more impact to me than all of the characters in the entirety of 2 because he actually acted consistent.

As dogshit as a lot of the stuff I've heard of in Dragon Isles is its biggest black mark is that its yet more dogshit retcons reusing characters that have already been played to death. Same as always.
