The WPATH leak will 100% be brushed off as fake news, misinformation, doctored images, and right-wing conspiracy, if it is not already--I am not going to expose myself to the response on social media because I don't want to go to bed angry. Call me blackpilled but nothing will be gained from this. Maybe a few people will finally reach their peak if they actually bother to read it, but this is not going to bring about the downfall of the troon cult. This is probably the only place on the internet where it's going to gain any real traction.

Also while I don't think this will get a ton of mainstream media attention right away, I would bet the true purpose of this document is to get it in front of red-state legislatures and lawyers who bring up WPATH's failings in their justifications. Being able to go to a judge and say, "This is not evidence-based, here are some of the things WPATH has signed off on" will keep restrictions from being overturned by IFuckingLoveScience-type judges. If you look at some of the filings, they already have been citing some articles about the eunuch controversy and such, but this just gives them a powder keg they can throw in too.

The difference is they put Frankenstein's Monster on the can front and center for a customer base made up of college dudebros and Southern conservatives. It had clear, simple, concise messaging which says "Fuck you, Cletus."

This is a giant dossier with a bunch of doctor correspondence using medical terms unfamiliar to the general public, probably filled to the brim with medical shorthand only doctors would know.

well whatever the case i think its important not just use that to say "oh well no one cared ill drop it" i think its better to be a mostly ignored potential thorn rather than just letting their mutilation of kids just die out as a trend in drama.

Michael Shellenberger is someone that I haven't heard about for some years - the guy is an environmentalist who supports nuclear energy and has spoke about the climate alarmism hysteria and the corruption in the climate research organizations. in 2020 there was a brief uproar in media because he dared to criticize publicly the mainstream narrative of global warming with his book Apocalypse Never: Why Environmental Alarmism Hurts Us All. I think it's very impressive that Shellenberger also tries to fight againt the trans activism but because of his status, it's very likely that media will try to discredit the story by just pointing the fingers at him saying "He's just a conspiracy theory [feel free to add more ad hominem here] climate change denier nuclear energy shill!"
