One thing is they assume ANYONE famous has autism because they want to be like someone famous.

Like there was a thread about Kurt Cobain having Asperger's.

They also love to use the phrase "Neurotypical" or "NT" which is to imply that anyone that doesn't self-diagnose as they do has no problems ever.

I honestly think Kiwi Farms is a better forum for autists to go to than Wrong Planet. The lower-functioning ones will probably get banned here for being tards, but for the rare case when "high functioning autism" isn't just something the doctor says to make the parents feel better, it's much better for autists to interact with people who don't let them use their disability as an excuse to shit themselves and do nothing. Wrong Planet, like parts of Tumblr, encourages people to use their possibly self diagnosed autism as an excuse for being useless and badly behaved. Many of them rely on other people's goodwill to keep them alive as they whine about how terrible everyone is, seemingly not realising that without us dang dirty neurotypicals giving them the monthly tugboat they'd have to work themselves or starve. It's one of the last places I'd recommend an autist to go, short of a furry forum.

Wrongplanet kind of feels like wizardchan or r9k lite, in some ways. A big difference is that there's a butt ton of sub forums, a lot of which aren't updated. Even though 4chan has terrible graphic design (imo) wrong planet seems to trump it somehow.

WP is awful because it's full of ass pats and almost zero solutions. I had to click out of there after a few minutes because it's so lame.

Lower functioning autistics can do well in supportive environments and all their medical issues are handled. A lot of the extreme crazy behavior comes from comorbid things. People who scream and beat themselves because they're in pain, having focal aware (formerly simple partial) seizures that feel weird or not feeling well because of endocrine issues and they can't tell anybody what's wrong.

So people like us laugh at higher functioning lazy autistics like Chris all the time. They're autistic and they're also assholes or trannies or brony neckbeard faggots and so on. We call them on that and we laugh.

You get doctors who went to medical school for years sit in an office and look at low functioning autistics who are epileptics or have severe OCD or have Crohn's and the doctors write their problems off as "it's because they are autistic" and shut the book.

It seems over the years lower function autists have become more violent, I read this facebook type blog by a woman named Amie Carter, The cops have been called to her house over 40 times, 30 hospital visits non psychiatric, and just now he's getting psychiatric help her son is almost 11, he is violent, cusses out people.

At least r9k has some sort of an established social culture (even though it's disgusting). Because autists don't understand basic social skills people on WP will post about literally everything, no matter how stupid or irrelevant. Almost every board is filled with people complaining about their miserable lives and talking about stuff nobody cares about rather than creating any meaningful discussion.

I met Ryan/Peaguy there ten years ago. I also had my own lolcow then, this Jewish kid called Leon who used to post angry right-wing stuff and stories about him stalking this girl he liked called Samantha. The WP mods warned me they would get the fan site i made for him shut down, and I tracked down photos from his special needs club of him being spazzy. I wish I could remember his surname, I'd love to know how he is.

Another nutcase I met around 12 years ago is a guy called Happeh who writes books about this theory he has that masturbation makes aliens take over your body and posts tons of spam about it..I think if you put Happeh into google he still has some presence.

I thought about making a thread on Happeh once, but I'm way too lazy. The guy's a legit lunatic though. He's got a website - happehtheory.com - and used to have one called happeh.com (it's archived, but all the images are broken).

I was only on WrongPlanet for a little while, but I got there just as Happeh was starting threads all over. He said he was there because he'd heard Aspies were more intelligent than average people and so he thought they might be receptive to his views.

*Human bodies should be perfectly symmetrical and masturbation physically deforms you. He'd prove this by demanding people send him photographs of them, then he'd draw lines on their bodies to show where they weren't symmetrical.

Anyway, WrongPlanet wasn't receptive and he ended up banned. AFAIK after that he quit registering on other people's forums and started keeping to himself and his own websites.
