Phil has all the risk factors. Diabetes, AIDS, frequent breaking of the skin from tattoos. And he is so unhealthy that it probably just seems normal to him and no hospital will let him in since he has just gotten out of a fake ER trip and necrotizing fascitiis often doesn't manifest in visible sores on the skin until pretty much the rest of the limb is dead and the infection is in the blood

No... that would require him to do something which could transmit it, which he doesn't (IV drugs) or can't convince anyone to (sex). It's one reason I'm against the more extreme forms of ridicule around here... Phil is so outrageous that it's hard enough keeping separate what's truth and what's his nonsense; keeping track of what Kiwis have made up just makes more of the bizarre real shit sound fake.
