Well, actually, it wasn't my efforts. I'm not a scientist or doctor, I don't have a laboratory, I don't have a degree, and honestly, all I really did was, as people say, Google the abstracts of a bunch of papers and assemble a hypochondriac's image of this virus that doesn't say anything about the frequency of these complications (thankfully, many of them are rare).

But even that germaphobic rant in the OP was enough to attract the attention of actual scientists, who told me I was on the right track and thanked me for the crowdsourced info.

The mere fact that they were willing to acknowledge it at all filled me with dread. Believe me, I didn't want to be right.

So now what?

It is difficult to measure the correct dosage of chloroquine phosphate. Most chloroquine phosphate aquarium cleaner is 99% pure chloroquine and safe for human consumption, although you really shouldn't do it. The problem is the dosage.

A therapeutic dosage of chloroquine is 300 to 600 milligrams. A lethal dose is like 1000 to 2000 milligrams. Notice something? A mere double-dose can kill you.

If you don't have an electronic drug scale like what drug dealers use and if you don't measure out the powder and instead dump a heaping teaspoon of chloroquine in your mouth, guess what? YOU WILL DIE.

Chloroquine phosphate and quinine have nasty side effects and can render you partly deaf or blind! Ototoxicity and retinal toxicity are known issues with these drugs even when used as anti-malarials!

You also have the political part at play. A lot of doctors are pants shittingly retarded and will believe whatever they're told. They'll believe whatever "expert" takes their specific political autism into account.
