It would be hilarious if he moved to Texas. Property tax is pretty high so no doubt we'd see an emergency begathon about these taxes "that came out of nowhere". Not to mention if he thinks 60 degrees is hot oh boy.
A million bucks a month for shitty playstation 1 looking polygons and some shitty AI generated images of gay wrestlers that already exist is pretty good.
So what is Phil's average spend per month?
Single digits/year. ~5%<, but, a single digit, not a decimal fractional, certainly. I think he whaled mostly on credit in the game which got the bankruptcy rolling and is doing that outside what any further bank leak of transactions would reveal again, potentially to a larger degree, this time.
Gin may be heavily involved. If true that means whatever planned spending goes out the window.
He deserves it.
My guess is #3 with a twist of #4: Phil effectively gets paid daily due to how he manages his PayPal so depending on how event start dates line up with other whales' pay days he might be able to start ahead, only to lose it when they get a much bigger infusion of cash a few days-a week or two later. So when an event starts he spends enough to hit #1 and/or distract himself from his miserable dumpster fire of a life for one more night (to neger's point, alcohol is definitely involved here as well).
I wouldn't go as far as to say he deserves his addiction that's kind of fucked but I feel zero sympathy for him whatsoever because he's a repugnant human being.
I will take every top hat, but yes Phil deserves endless suffering.
Phil is miserable. No one who has a good life needs to constantly tell their audience that they are in fact the happiest they have ever been. I think Phil has to wake up and gaslight himself. He has no retirement, he keeps owing large sums of money to the government. He needs to beg people for their money. He's 40 and he has nothing of value outside his rundown condo. I know he talks a big game, but I think thats for his own protection. The crushing force of all his bad decisions are there, and I believe he is lucid enough to be cognizant of them.
All of that is a problem for tomorrow’s Phil.
That's not paid off so he doesn't even have that.
Not just this but he is doing it while grandstanding on some who do the exact same thing (Keemstar), and making excuses for others who do the exact same thing (Kino Casino), completely based on what benefits him the most at the current moment.
The life of those living with a severe personality disorder such as Phil are inherently a nightmare. He has always been like this, so he is physically incapable of understanding what a normal person feels like, behaves like and generally what it is to be normal. And so, he is unable to fit into society or a community by being himself.
I think you are right, but not quite. Phil is miserable because he isn't a billionaire. He isn't beloved and he gets judged and criticized. Which is misery by way of being an idiot. Which is another layer to why he deserves a lot of suffering. Because he tells people who can barely function that his life is suffering because of the previous examples. People who depend on handouts to actually eat. He demands those handouts.
