X-COM, XCOM and their derivatives - Including: Xenonauts, Phoenix Point, and assorted tactical turn-based alien shoot-a-thons

As is often the case, just because people are talking a lot about a product doesn't mean they're actually buying it. One of the biggest reasons why marketing doesn't actually sell anything. Funnily enough, one of the greatest examples of this was also meme shit involving snakes; Snakes On A Plane, which had a huge internet following and then proceeded to bomb at the box office.
Nooooo but companies should listen to us heckin twitter and redditerinos! I mean ill never buy this product but im pretty sure its offensive and they shoukd change their products to my sensibilities or ill scream really mad!

Ill still never buy it because I hate x style of media anyway and im a vocal minority that represents less than 1% of people much less your customers lmao

I'm sure I'll be slaughtered for saying this, but this series feels clunky and unfair, not really a fan. Plus the base building isn't fun.

I like Rebelstar: Tactical Command though, made by the same Xcom guy. Better story, no base shit, and streamlined combat. It still has some dumb accuracy issues where it feels like it misses too much but it's more enjoyable imo.
