Xbox Game Studios Stupidity Hate Thread Game Pass Edition

If Microsoft ends up porting Sea of Thieves over to PS I think it might actually be over for Xbox, even though it's also on PC it really is Xbox's best console exclusive game. I'm a pretty big Xtard and I think in a generation or 2 Xbox might just end up being just a line of pre-built PCs (even tho they kind of already are) and just be done with consoles.

microsoft is also one of the few who can afford to flush billions down the drain because they literally have the fuck-you money for that.
there are also rumors that slowly but surely MS trying to turn into a service provider instead of a console maker - less cost, more profit.

don't forget the ultimate plan is to get everyone and everything on gamepass so it gets so big players and studios can't ignore it, if that's on xbox, pc or somewhere else doesn't matter in that scheme of things.

Gamepass is a failure, it's stuck in 20 million subs and is not growing anymore. FF14 probably has more subs than that and it's just one single game.

All the blockbusters that come out on gamepass are absolute garbage. All the big hits just don't go to gamepass and never wiill. You are not going to play Baldur's Gate 3 on gamepass, Hogwarts legacy, Alan Wake II, Resident Evil 4 or any major blockbuster of 2023. You get Redfail and Starshit instead.

It's a service that has no future whatsoever.

The whole MS putting games to rival studios stuff is funny to me, I think everyone already knows MS gaming future will not be in consoles but in services. Soon as it becomes viable for them to get rid of consoles they will.

Hi-fi Rush is a niche game, putting it on the switch or switch 2 a year later just makes sense to me, a way to subsidies smaller gamepass games, with the profit being made with the later port. Also would make sense for remasters or ports of older XBOX games from the 360 era that skipped PC, use Switch as a way to reclaim the dev costs of the late PC ports used to fill out Games Pass catalog.

Xbox also have GAAS games like Halo Infinite MP, Sea of Thieves and Grounded, all not dead but not showing any growth, so putting them on PS5 and what ever the next gen Switch could give a much needed boost to player base, which will benefit all players. Looking at some of Sony's GAAS plans that isn't too far off what they are planning with least Bungie's games.

This. Microsoft really has no future in gaming. Their consoles don't sell, and Game Pass isn't growing anymore. I believe Microsoft will be out of the industry by 2027, just the like the leaks said they were considering.

At best, Microsoft will drop the console race the same way Sega did and turn itself as a third-party studio, and at worst, they'll also continue to be incompetent, just like Sega and other big name game studios

Phil Spencer ruined what good will that Xbox generated. The RROD didn't turn as many gamers away as the sonyggers would have you believe.

When Allard and Moore left the writing was on the wall, then Spencer signed off on Xbox One and every other major fuck up since 2014. Plus he's a liar and fat.

Imagine releasing two consoles with vastly different power and tying the same games to them. What a fat fucking retard.
