What happened to Minecraft Legends? I had no interest in it but I assumed it was going to be at least "average" for people who liked that shit. Anyways, shame things are going so badly over there, but thats what happens when you try to cobble together studios full of randos to take care of IP they don't actually care about.
edit: He's also flat out fucking wrong, at least in regards to Nintendo. The Switch launched with a completely new and separate online ecosystem from Wii U and 3DS, it launched late and still won last generation and it did it off the backs of not one but two 11 out of 10 games (BotW and Animal Crossing) which made people go out and buy the console specifically in order to play one or the other of them. Also, its a total lie to say that this is the first changeover where online ecosystem continuity mattered, its just that last gen they fumbled so badly that people switched their entire ecosystem just to get away from Xbox. And it doesn't even matter because those big crossplatform games he talked about have crossplatform play and crossplatform accounts anyways... Whatever, thanks for all the fucking excuses, now why don't you go out there and try to make a fucking game, preferably a single-player-centric one. You did okay with Flight Sim, Forza and the initial launch of Halo: Infinite, things went okay when you actually put stuff out.
