Bethesda should just license their shitty engine to the modders directly instead of making new, buggier-than-the-last games. Just have the modders make their own games from scratch and make money from it. Win-win situation if you ask me.

The budget was never released but its estimated to be around 200 million, don't know if that includes marketing or not.

Game sales are way down - 17% year over year in Euroland. The only new games to crack the top 100 were the Paper Mario remake (if you call that new) and Homeworld 3.

Rumours are abound that Microsoft and Nvidia are getting in bed togther. It's recirculating on line but the rumour isn't new. The word on the grapevine is that the next xbox will be intel+nvidia and not AMD.

There's a bigger came coming down the pipeline and I don't know where to post it, but we are going to see Sony+AMD vs Microsoft+Intel+Nvidia in the console/PC space. Much like old console wars, multi-plat games will have different features on either Sony store (AMD) or Xbox store (Intel+Nvidia).

Tinfoil hat: I think MS are actively trying to reduce the number of consoles sold on purpose.

I remember MS doing damage control that Black Ops 6 would NOT affect Game Pass tiers. That lasted a whole month.

Now, AFAIK, they're removing the Console tier and replacing it with Standard that WON'T include Day 1 titles. Let's talk about how the price for online multiplayer has skyrocketed from $60 a year to $75 a year. Sony did the same thing with their PS+ subscription as well.
