Well, since identity is something that shouldn’t change too often, I meant in general.

Yeah, I had a ps2 at that time. And Playstation was basically a lucky dvd player with lots of third party support. Some of my favourite titles were exclusive to ps2, but I liked those games, not the brand.

What’s Playstation identity? Answers on a postcard please.

Everything else, in essence.

Every generational RPG was on Playstation (Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Persona, Yakuza, etc), as was every Fighting Game, and every action game - Devil May Cry, God of War, every Resident Evil till 5. Metal Gear Solid was a PS exclusive, Shadow of the Colossus, etc.

Xbox had it's "core" games (Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable, etc) and Nintendo had thiers (Mario, Zelda, Smash, etc) but if you wanted to play quite literally anything else you needed a PS1/PS2.

Fable is in a really weird spot because it's so old and I really wonder if there's a large audience of people that would be nostalgic for it. Fable was cool in it's time but I never cared much for Fable 2 or 3 - not sure if that's the prevailing opinion or not.

At this point they should just remake the first Fable game and then called it a day.

The problem is, the new Fable doesn't seem to resemble the old Fable at all, so they clearly don't care about the nostalgic audience, however small it may be.

It doesn't matter, though. Like every other game on the slate it's never coming out.
