Xenoblade Chronicles X

I have started the epilogue. I am not having fun fighting the Ghosts.

Am I old and dumb and missing something or is this a reasonable reaction?
 
So the new chapter just throws out the plot that the actual game had been building up in favor of making Xenosaga/gears references? Gotta say, thats pretty gay and alienates me as a fan.


Honestly, with the proportional decline in interest/sales that the series gotten since 2, they need to stop tying the games together. At this point its only hurting them.

Question about Mia. Currently in that Downfall mission and that damn boss you gotta fight twice is kicking my ass every which way. Any tips? I heard to get the Grenada Armor to increase your beam resistance.

I have Irina, Nagi, and Ga Jiarg in lvl 50 skells but of course they hardly last.
 
I've been playing this recently. I'm at level 20 with the first three squad members and I've mainly been exploring and unlocking probes. It's enjoyable. The only other Xenoblade game I played was a bit of 1 on the Wii, which wasn't bad either. Are there any cities/towns in this game, or is NLA the only location? The game reminds me a bit of Nier: Automata.
