To be fair, he said, "he's freaked out by her race" -- I think that would piss me off if I were in her shoes. I don't think it puts him on the level of rapist, but yeah, that's kinda fucked up to say that to someone. Especially if you're having sex with them. The rest of her description of him makes the dude sound like an all around douchebag -- I think that comment was probably the least offensive thing he said. (Later telling her how grossed out he was by her boobs?)

You're right. It's pretty odd that every other sign of him being a douchebag she just wrote off because her desperation makes it acceptable, but somehow a race comment broke that camel's back.

My boyfriend took umbrage with the fact that after a long stretch out of town, he came home to a house that was in less than great shape.

"You couldn't clean the kitchen?"

Comments like this would infuriate me. "HOW DARE YOU!" I would screech. "I'm a goddamn FEMINIST! I'm not here to cook your dinners and be the housemaid! If you wanted Susie Homemaker, you got the wrong MOTHERFUCKIN' girl!"

"Once, you start making your own money again," my fiancée says, "you can tell me to go fuck myself." I tell him that anyway, but I know what he means. The ability to say "Go fuck yourself" to your partner if things go bad and not have to worry about how you're going to take care of yourself is freedom. Which is all I have ever wanted.

So here I am! Writing, working on my website and starting my podcast, "Nia, Please!" in the next few months. It'll be an advice podcast, if you can believe that. I'm trying to get some kind of career going, whatever it turns out to be. Being a lady of leisure is super fun, I won't lie. But being a real, working, contributing, equal partner feels even better.

Over four years later and...

- Blog is a blank page.

- Podcast has been "coming soon" for 4 years.

- Made a couple 5-minute Vimeo movies (a vanity project her hubby paid for)

- Press consists of a few articles like the one above, all written years ago.

- IMDB page lists exactly two bit parts in a TV series in the last 4 years.

- Abandoned her facebook page years ago.

The only thing that appears to be active is her twitter feed, on which she constantly brags about her life of lesiure as a kept woman, and occasionally spouts social justice REE and Trump salt.

Being feminist doesn't exclude you from personal responsibility, you dumb nigger. That guy was nice enough to propose to her jobless ass and provide her with a place to live, and she couldn't even do minimal upkeep, or cook dinner as a thank you? He didn't even curse at her as badly as she did him. I hope that poor guy moved on and found a better woman.
