Despite being mostly mediocre; it's no less mediocre than today's standards (And it was my fucking jam in high school so fight me), and I'd argue that half the people mentioned at least gave half a damn about the music they made rather than the fast-food iterations of today, where God forbid you take a year off from touring and songwriting in order to harness new ideas.
