I don't remember how I found him, exactly, but it was right after my sister overdosed and had to be taken to the hospital. I was in high school and completely alone in the house because my parents were at the hospital. At the time, I was just really numb and didn't know what to feel or do.

In a lot of ways, the CWCki was exactly what I needed. I read a lot of it in one sitting. It's hard not to have some sort of reaction to things Chris has done, whether it's laughing or horrified gawking or schadenfreude or whatever. It gave me a way to release some sort of emotional tension even though I couldn't directly deal with what was going on in my own life.

I am a freaking internet addict, and looking at Chris one day I could say to myself.

"Well, there's the possibility I'll grow up to be a do-nothing loser, someone that actually does something with their life, or be Chris Chan. I'll gladly settle with Option-A. At least I won't make the locals hate my guts."

I used to be active on ED and was actually an admin back in the day but quit right before Chris-Chan was discovered. Revisited ED last year when I was bored, and he was featured due to the 14 BC house-fire. I really became interested a month ago when I re-found the CWCiki and the Gamestop incident had just happened.

I am fairly new to Chris & Sonichu. I stumbled across him on /r/askreddit 9 months ago. The thread was "what are some of the creepiest, unexplainable, and darkest places of the internet that you know of?"

I visited sonichu.com for the first time out of curiosity. Curiosity quickly turned to disbelief, followed by horror. Next was acceptance, and finally love. By now I've read the majority of the cwcki articles.

I got into Chris chan recently, after reading the wiiUdaily article chris complained about on facebook about him macing a gamestop employee. After being shocked, someone linked the cwcki to the comments section, showing who did it(chris chan). I think that his macing doubled his infamy overnight,possibly.

I think I first NOTICED him on his ED article, but I'd definitely seen videos or references before that on YouTube. But yeah, I was honestly a little uncomfortable reading about him. Maybe it was how ED articles are written, but a lot of his shenanigans put me on edge. Don't know why. I find them interesting now.

I found him in 2009, but didn't stumble upon the fap cup article until a few years ago. It was like discovering him all over again. Sonichu.com has been bookmarked in my browser ever since.

My first exposure was a Linkara video about comics he would never review and Sonichu was mentioned.

In 2007, I came across his masterpiece Sonichu #0 cover on SA. Not quite realizing why Sonic Recolor and the Rainbow Kid were playing baseball, I chalked it off to being another hazmat spew from DeviantArt. Edit: might have been 2008. Can't recall.

In 2013, my girlfriend mentioned the Pregnant Act video when we were discussing how bad the Internet is. Basically I didn't believe that this video existed without some kind of catch, or existed purely as a stunt. And then I tumbled down the rabbit-hole.

I go back to some mentions of him on Something Awful and on 4Chan- they would usually get me reading about his antics for a night or two and move on, so I guess I was checking in on him now and then for years. A 4Chan mention of the fire got my attention, I somehow got a link here through surfing, and my attention was grabbed by how his life just seems to have spiraled down, down, down. I finally registered after the blaarms mace fun. Here to see where it goes.

Way back when there was only an ED page. I saw that sonichu.com wasn't bought yet so I bought it. This was probably 2007? For the longest time I just had a domain forward on it I gave it to PVCC for the Cwcki a few years later. That was in 2010.

My SO is an avid CWC watcher, and Christorian. Early on when we started dating, he'd mention Chris a fair amount. I was introduced into the pretty light stuff, mostly the Liquid Chris work and the songs- The Great Director and Now Now Now have become family favorites. I've found it such a fascinating psychological trainwreck, that I can't stop reading the history. He's pretty proud of me, seeing as I've picked up a lot of the lore and have a pretty good grasp of the timeline. I was inducted early 2014. I think at this point I'm more tuned into the saga than he is!

I was on a 4chan cringe thread a couple of years ago and someone posted up OPL. I was a very active 4chan user during the Golden Age and somehow never saw any Chris references. It's a shame that I've discovered him in a dry-phase but I've been fascinated by his Chris-foolery ever since.

My first exposure to Chris was around 08. I can't remember what it was, I think it was either a mention from Linkara or something else.
I discovered Chris when I was reading the review of Sonichu on badcomicswiki and what finally tipped me over to read about Chris was an article of him on 1d4chan. That was early 2013. I fully began reading the crazy when I discovered the cwcki in late September 2013.

I got into Chris thanks to a youtuber who dramatically reads fanfiction, BrendanielReads. He began to read Sonichu in mid may last year and all this talk of Chris-Chan piqued my interest. I felt obligated to find out more about the man who drew this abomination and thought it would catch on. I then extensively read the Cwiki and proceeded to be more and more amazed and disgusted by what I saw, but I couldn't stop, you never stop. You keep falling down the rabbit hole, continually praying to GodBear to let you out of the madness.

Watching Linkara's top 10 things he won't review, he mentions Chris. I stop the video and google the guy. My jaw dropped.

Missed my french class. spent 5 hours learning about this guy while drinking green tea... almost missed the shuttle from Montreal to my suburb area...
