Your first post

I have no clue. Maybe something around the time CWC's house burnt down?

I think.

In the "Your received Medallions" thread.

Gotta say, I'm impressed with the level of effort here. I was expecting everything beyond the first one or two to be printed on paper and supplied with a piece of string. Either that or just a photocopied instruction on how to just make your own.

A "What If?" post. Because I would make myself comfortable in the thread held in the lowest regard by the rest of the community.

@Stan Marsh :What if Chris had impregnanted the winner he lost his virginity to?
@Morbid Boredom : She'd have an abortion -a pregnant hooker attracts fewer customers.

In the Lady ATL69 thread (And she was my first cow. How appropriate!) I don't think I came off as too autistic but you be the judge.

OH MY GOD THIS CHICK!

I think she might be my favorite lolcow. I remember discovering her on Tumblr, when the blog "Sociallyunacceptableart" was still a thing. Out of all the crazy artists on there, something about her seemed so fascinating to me. You see, I was a huge Spyro fan as a kid, to the point where I had autistic fantasies involving the world and characters. But like most people, I grew out of it. The fact that she's so obsessed with a boss from the first game, a character with absolutely no characterization and only appears on screen for a couple of seconds. And the fact that not only she ships herself with him but also draws porn of it. Maybe it's because I'm somewhat naive in regards to studying lolcows, but I...I just don't get it.

Her real life is also as entertaining as well. The fact that she has a boyfriend old enough to be her dad (Hell, he was actually friends with her dad) and probably knew her when she was underaged. Not to mention her apparently has kids older than her and hits on young girls on Facebook. And that LadyALT69 includes him in her shitty art and draws porn of him, her, and Jacques having a threeway. I'll admit, the whole thing is creepy and depressing, but it's also super entertaining. Ah well, I at least give her credit for making me discover and join this rabbit whole of a website. Anything to get me away from Tumblr, I guess.

My first post was a status update. It was "There's a shit blizzard brewing." A month later Chris maced a guy and went to jail, so it sort of came true.

Wow, you're all young.

All the way back 15 or so years ago there was this guy named Alex Chiu who sold magnets that make you immortal. I remember his website fondly, with it's outlandish claims and obsession with Alicia Silverstone. I checked back a couple months ago, turns out he's still around (those magnets must work!) and crazier than ever. He's now a Chinese Neo Nazi and his message board is deliciously insane: http://idu.yuku.com/topic/626/true-Nazi-wish-die-battlefield-assassinated#.UzN-vPldVUU http://idu.yuku.com/topic/723/Hear-a-voice-in-my-dream-WW3-in-10-months#.UzN-jfldVUU http://idu.yuku.com/topic/631/We-Nazis-did-not-do-a-damn-thing-wrong-including-holocost#.UzN-uPldVUU

oh my god

My first post is in reply to this ridiculously spergy disco thread thread https://kiwifarms.net/threads/missionary-cowgirl.43/#post-5851

"what is missionary cowgirl?"

What he meant was that he likes a girl on top, lying on top of him (face to face, chests basically pressed up against eachother) - as opposed it the traditional cowgirl image of them "riding" a dude (i.e. being somewhat upright, sat up).

In Chris's mind "missionary = that one where you're lying down. Cowgirl = that one with the girl on top. Therefore missionary cowgirl makes sense, it's wanting a girl on top to lay on top of you"

Chris logic is retarded, but kinda understandable.

EDIT: for the record I went back and searched for it, my first post doesn't have any particular meaning to me  its weird to see how many people from that thread are gone though :C

I created my account so I could read Thetan's emails. Shortly after that Chris maced a dude and I posted in his mugshot thread.

'Sup.
I've been lurking here for a good amount of time on here and on other lolcow places and i decided to make an account to join in on the discussion. Aside from that, that's all you need to know about me.
So basically, nothing has changed.

I went big and started my own thread... I wasn't aware of the culture here and the averse approach taken to starting new threads, and since boards I posted on in the past took the approach that if a topic is interesting, as long as someone isn't baiting or trolling, it could stay. I was surprised at the offense that many long-term users took to it, I was expecting maybe a couple of people would respond discussing the topic but people were talking about book reports and videos, which isn't really research at all. It really woke me up to the diverse span of education in the community.

In the time I have been observing Chris, I have found that he is not really the phenomenon that people should be conducting research on, but it is the community that surrounds his followership. Bob intimated in a call before that people were writing "dissertations" on Chris. I wonder how much of this is true and if there has been an actual research project that has been completed on Chris or his fandom.

I am actually a PhD who has published research on the topic of technology and society, and I have had work published on the role of discussion boards as a tool for cancer patients that helps them self-manage and to provide a cathartic role in their lives, depending on what point of their care they are in. I only give this background because I would like to call out to other people who may be academics here who would be in agreement with me that the community that follows Chris should be studied.

There is a lot of information here and there are a lot of people who have been involved. While the pure nature of the community itself likely precludes the ability to rely on responses to interviews or questionnaires, I believe that a qualitative analysis of artifacts from the old imageboards and the message boards could provide useful content for academic study and would be a phenomenon worthy of research. It is novel enough to get published. Has anyone done this before? I have searched ProQuest, Google Scholar, and found nothing.

It was when Jace and Deagle Nation were revealed as hoaxes, but before the final livestream Q&A. I speculated that certain elements might not have been faked, mainly because I didn't believe that someone would crash a car over a joke. I got a lot of "Press 2" and "Autistic" ratings.
