I got my name from this thing my uncle used to do where he would put his foot down next to you, shake out a loose fart, and then claim that he had "stepped on a croaking spider".
As a kid, I thought it was obnoxious as fuck. The older I get, the more I appreciate the dad humor.
I was born (not raised, long story) in Battle Creek and... well, Kellogg's is just about the most interesting thing about that town as far as I'm concerned.
I wanted a name with 3 of a letter in a row and I liked the quote about staring into the abyss. I'd probably pick a cuter and bird themed name now but I still like the one I have.
It just popped into my head. Mean Sonofabitch is an ironically very friendly Super Mutant in Fallout New Vegas, and I wanted a change after the breach a few months ago.
First I was Cardenio, a minor early character in Don Quixote a book I was obsessively reading at time.
Then I was Homer J. Fong, a trivial Simpsons reference which I unknowingly didn’t realize is similar to Liz Fong-Jones. I embraced that for a while but constantly thinking about that Muppet was kinda gross.
Now I go by Kulee Baba trying to raise awareness of this awesome Steely Dan lost track.
i was lurking and reading the SRS thread for a few months before diving in which inspired me. Also I am a fat obnoxious fuck and it made me tee-hee-hee because my initials are ASS!
A long time ago I saw a super wholesome comment on the pirate bay from a user named dickbrain talking about how he was completely broke after the divorce and how he torrents movies so he has something to do with his kids when he has custody and how grateful he is that people take the time to rip and share them, and the uploader just replied "u better believe it dickbrain".
That reply, both in and out of context, made me laugh so hard it burned itself in my memory and now it's my go to fake name for everything.
Sometimes I worry about trannies swatting that poor divorced dad because of my thoughtcrimes but it's too late to do anything about it.
When I registered it had something like this (but it wasn't in this form at the time).
And I do remember reading this thread before I registered that is linked in the screenshot.
