No, he did specifically say he'd send you a default Sonichu medallion if your request is too offensive.

Apologies if I have missed it, but have there been cases of him declining to make a medallion request? He was careful to allow himself this loophole, but I am curious where the line is.

Someone asked if he would do Boulder-Dropping Whale and he said no. I don't think anyone's gotten the default Sonichu instead of what they wanted though. Seems like most people are able to ask beforehand and get an answer.

Well. Technically someone ordered a Sonichu and then got a raging PMSonichu, but the offensive part wasn't the character ordered but rather the circumstances of the deal.

It looks way better than the medallions I've seen him with. He's putting some *real* effort in this shit, lel. Kind of shows that if he puts *real* effort into something, it'll turn out better than his other shit.
i kind of want one now :(
 
Bad news, I don't think I can get the comic since I'm using the extra money I got to have my pet cremated. I will try to get a Joker medallion though. Hopefully the new 52 version won't be too stressful.

Perfectly understandable. I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I've gotten all too familiar with loss lately.

Hopefully when you get that medallion, things will be a little less bleak.

Wait, really? That's weird. He was fine with yawning squirtle, I don't see how boulder-dropping whale is more offensive than that.

So, Chris is angry at a character he himself created for an action he himself wrote into the script? Sounds about right. But if he's angry enough to not make a medallion, that's just a shame. Imagine you could make a two-fold medallion where there's a tiny boulder on a short strip of thread dangling below the whale...

I have some other theories - maybe it's because he knows it as a Wailord and refuses to acknowledge it a whale. Maybe because he knows part of the reason for the character's popularity is its attempt to kill Bubbles' mother. Maybe it's the fact that the whale is presumably very much larger than the other characters and Chris hasn't figured out that he could scale it down.

Like I mentioned previously, I'm indecisive so I gave Chris 5 different choices, most of them (4/5) being Yu-Gi-Oh-related because I'm going to be forever alone anyway and I'd rather not get a Sonichu medallion that's just going to collect dust in my closet.

Estimated delivery day is Friday. :biggrin:
