That red Sonichu is nice. I think the blue cheeks are a neat touch.

The a-logging makes me roll my eyes so hard. I have to ask how mentally stunted one has to be to derive any humor from such blatant harassment. The criticisms aren't even remotely logical. They're receiving exactly what's pictured on the listing, therefore making them the idiot for ordering it when they're already well aware of the amateurish level of craftsmanship.

It just makes me feel a little sad for Chris. When he maintains the level of quality he's personally capable of he doesn't deserve such vitriol.

I could ask if they got any parcels from me but they're such dicks they've probably already thrown them out and would just lie. Seriously, these people are assholes. I ordered a pizza online and paid with my card and when the driver brought the food to their house mistakenly they just accepted it and didn't tell the driver he had the wrong house. That was straight theft but I felt a bit ridiculous calling the police over stolen pizza. Same with stolen tard medallions. I have a cop friend who said it's technically theft and that I could call and would be taken seriously but I'd just feel like I was wasting their time. Also, how do you file a complaint about fucking Sonichu medallions being taken?

I was more thinking along the lines of trying to confirm with Chris which carrier he used, then calling them with my tracking number, and if that bore no fruit I was thinking of contacting Chris and explaining the situation and asking if he could re-make/send them, since it is technically the seller's responsibility to ensure the buyer actually receives the item.

Unfortunately, I've been in hospital twice over the past week and too sick to do anything about this so any chance of tracking the package down has probably long passed.

Exactly what it is isn't important as the fact that mail is being stolen. The government gets very cranky about that.

I'm not 100% sure they did take it, I'm just assuming it was delivered there because it's happened many times in the past and they never try to bring me the mail like I do when I get theirs. I need to first work out what company the package was shipped with, because if it was a courier like I suspect it's possible the package is sitting in their warehouse because I wasn't home to accept delivery and they don't leave 'sorry we missed you' notes like the post office.

If I do find out the package was delivered to those people and they signed for it, I think I'll be forced to report them.

He's working on my comic book pages. I will message him every day or two to track his progress and make sure he's actually working. I may give him suggestions to inspire him if he's having too much trouble. It would be kind of cool if he could include something about Sonic's blue arms in there.

So much for his finishing this over the weekend. And he's already stress sighing? Calling it now, he's not going to make that one week deadline.

Here's an idea: Suggest to him that he tie in the Sonic's Blue Arms fiasco, like while out shopping for dresses, the characters hear about Sonic's arms being the wrong color and get involved in the protest against Sega. You could tell him that, if he's having trouble finding inspiration, since you know the problem with Sonic's arms is important to him, then he could work it into your comic pages. If he still drags his feet or if you just want to give him more prompts, you could suggest something like an interview with Blue-Arm Sonic (in part just to make Chris draw Sonic with blue arms), or your characters involved in the protest outside of Sega HQ with picket signs and chanting ("We're here! We're queer! Sonic's arms are not blue!")

Seriously, that's what I would do. It would be the closest thing we've gotten to a Sonichu comic in a long time, and it would likely contain some of Chris's rage from the Facebook posts into comic form. Think about it.

I haven't actually given him a deadline yet. Maybe I'm being too lenient.
I actually really like your approach. Chris has a notorious streak of self-righteousness. The slightest sign of irritation in your correspondence with him, no matter how justified, and he'll seize on that as proof that you're out to persecute him. By being so generous, he can't simply dismiss this by claiming you're some internet bogeyman.

That said, I think you should provide him with a timeline. Chris is allergic to work and hasn't operated under anything resembling a schedule in years. Without any outside framework, he'll likely see it as permission to take two months to finish this thing, and from his last message, it looks like the stream of delays and excuses is already getting started. It's not only reasonable to expect something like this in a week, I think you could still ask in a polite enough way that he can't raise any objections.

As a sidenote, I think it really sucks that he isn't going to do this over, that he's just going with his original idea. Sounds like he's half-assing it, but if you're cool with it then I guess it's alright.

I like how the only 'dialogue' he managed to come up with isn't even dialogue. You would think that, as a male lesbian so resolutely entrenched in the Virginian LGBTQ community, Chris would be able to come up with something for two fictitious male lesbians to talk about. Alas, Chris thinks male lesbians (much like women,) only think about sex and shopping :(

83, a red Sonichu was posted to twitter.
I hope he enjoys this medallion, he did invest 430 dollaridoos in this, after all.

Edit:
Not sure what to do. Ebay tracking says my medallions were delivered last month on the 28th but I never got them. I contacted the post office and the tracking number wasn't with them so they can't do anything about it. I think they delivered it to the wrong address, which would not be Chris's fault (there's another street in my neighbourhood with a very very similar name and my mail/pizza has wound up there before and been taken by the homeowner). I have no idea what company to contact because Fed-Ex contracts out to independent couriers when it arrives in Aus.

It's not Chris's fault, but I do want my fucking medallions.
So some random guy just got freaked out by a rather bizarre parcel being delivered...
What did you order?

Edit 2:

Concerning the Comic strips, I'd go with what the Nameless One suggested. Also Robbee could meet Mimi at the protest and flirt with her, leading up to the page with them in the bed. Seriously, imagine tomgirl Robbee flirting with someone... How could you resist setting up such a thing?

Well, the comic I bought from Chris arrived. It is disappointing. More than a month ago, I had asked for two black and white commissions and two colored comission. I asked for the uncolored ones to be comic pages about male lesbians and the colored ones to be comic book pages about anything at all, as long as it involved my OC. He couldn't come up with dialog, so instead of what I asked he sent me three colored pages of lesbian jokes and one laminated and certified image of my OC. At least I have the first drawn image of Chris as a lesbian.

That certification of authenticity is handwritten. Does that mean the medallions are not TRUE and HONEST? Me thinks that it could be one of these things:

- The printed certifications are for TRUE and HONEST fans.
- The printer either ran out of ink or it broke.
- Stress

I personally would rule out autism but I'll let you guys decide on that.

It is Christian Weston Chandler being himself.

Maybe he thought a handwritten certificate of authenticity is more special? Why have a printed piece of paper signed by CWC when you can have an ENTIRE certificate in his handwriting! He might have known he dropped the ball on the comics and thought a one-of-a-kind certificate might help.

On the other end of the quality spectrum, that Red Sonichu looks pretty nice for Chris standards. Ignoring the smushed spot, the color is uniform and the eyes are surprisingly clean. It almost looks like instead of painting it, he made it with red, white and tan model magic and then just painted the details. Which makes a lot more sense than painting the whole face.

There were two medallions, one of Metal Sonichu and one of Wild's Venusaur mother. If those assholes did take the package and open it I hope they saw the medallions and thought they were a gift from a retarded child and cried all the tears because they robbed me of such a precious memento of an exceptional child.

Has anyone thought to update the CWCki's commission page with @Flufflehugs content?
Also - sorry if this is the wrong place to ask (I know this thread is labeled for medallions but seeing as how Fluffle's were illustrations) - are the details/back stories/explanations of the other images in the above link contained somewhere? I haven't seen some of these mentioned on the forums and searches for "commission" and "illustration" are proving fruitless. They look pretty funny.

I think most were posted in the Autographed Photo thread: http://cwckiforums.com/threads/you-and-your-autographed-8x10s.4152/

It amuses me that Chris isn't willing to "retcon" his atrocious first attempt. It's canon and carved in stone; you're just getting an expansion of the original.
Catching up on this thread, something dawned on me. If Chris is indeed treating the lesbian jokes as canon, and writing a story to fill in the blanks between them, and your OC is shown in bed with Robbie, then...

Oh GodJesus, your character just got Simonla'd. Welcome to CWCville. Come play with the hedgehogs, Mimi. Forever, and ever, and ever
