I noticed he put 14BC as the return address, interesting.

They've maintained 14BC as a mail drop since the fire, the post office holds all their mail, I think he mentioned it in the FB updates right after the fire happened. He goes to the PO and picks it all up.

And yes, must agree, the Cert. of Authenticity is nicely done and he's gotten a lot better at embedding the bail into the pendant to string the cord through. So nice to see that the infamous "medallion 13" isn't quite the mess we were all expecting. Have to hand it to him here.

like thanks chris we would never have known what to do with the medallion otherwise!

though seriously I am pretty impressed. He put some effort into it.
If I had extra cash handy, I probably would've tried to get one as well as long as it goes by smoothly and not try to be impatient for it, after it arrives, I'll simply frame it and stick it on the wall someplace just so.

For Chris, that's surprisingly good! I was thinking he'd make the medallions lower quality than the ones he used to wear, but this one is good. It also looks like he lacquered it; I don't remember his own medallions being so shiny. That's a nice touch.

Also yes, Crayola Model Magic is much lighter than it looks.

Not bad! I'm surprised he painted the back, too - or is that just the color of the clay?

To be honest though, this makes me even more disappointed in Chris for doxxing his customers. It seems like he's put a lot of effort into his work (for Chris) but he's proven that he's not trustworthy with other people's information. Is anyone still planning on buying from him?

I'd buy from him again. He probably didn't realize how bad doxxing was.

I'm pleasantly surprised at this quality. I retract my statement from the other thread about FUBAR paintjobs. Sure, it's not the HIGHEST QUALITY, but it's the best we're gonna get from Chris. Coupled with thesilly official certification and earnest repair instructions it's kind of making me want one.

The thread about the doxxing has more than enough information to prove that he does, so I'm not going to repeat it here. If you want to support him then more power to you. Just be aware of the risk. Odds are you'll be okay as long as you don't file a case against him, which shouldn't be necessary if he can keep up with demand, but this is Chris after all. I was optimistic about this before the doxxing, and while I hope that he's learned his lesson... I just don't know. (:_(

Maybe it's just me, but I kinda like the silly little certification of authenticity that comes with these. It's rather charming in a way.

Heh, I think that's the best part. It's actually adorable.

I can't wait until mine arrives. I ordered a yawning squirtle medallion and two colored comic book pages (since there was a two for one special on comissions for a while). I'm rather impressed he put so much effort into his medallions!
Oh damn, a yawning squirtle medallion? That's awesome. You should've requested bloodshot eyes. *yawn*
