I'm not nearly as impressed with this one. Blue paint smears galore, going outside of the lines, not making it all the way to the line... This looks about as rushed as it could be.

It was number 12 according to the packaging. It was likely done in a hurry to get to infamous Number 13

It's terrible, but something about the face captures the Yawning Squirtle feel perfectly. Like looking into a mirror while on acid.

Also, I'm curious to see how others turn out now. Did Chris do well on the first one because it's something someone bought, or because it was his precious Sonichu?

It looks more like what a "Yawning Squirtle" ice cream pop from an ice cream truck would look like when you take off the wrapper.

i think he handled them while the paint was still wet, hence the fingerprint on mine and the smear on yawning squirtle.

It's kind of interesting to observe what details Chris takes from the CWCki forums. Awhile back, there were some leaked email conversations between him and a former MHS classmate where he wrote out JULAY instead of the proper spelling.

Yeah, I'm on the side of liking the Yawning Squirtle medallion. True, objectively it is really poorly made, but I think it fits with the character and is even endearing in its messiness.

Though it probably wouldn't work as well with any normal character, like Bubbles Rosechu or something. is the exception.
