Yeah, I called Ryam Slaweel when he announced all playable characters were available, I want a detachable Viking helmet though. Chris painting the eyes on Mary Lee would be worth the price alone!

I just looked at the string again. I don't think he quite knows how to tie a knot.

Or at least tying one that makes the lace adjustable. I can't say that the knot isn't one I've seen before or it's just Chris tangling the ends up into a ball until it's a "knot".

I don't have pictures handy. My medallion is in the 20's even though I was literally the fourth order when he posted the eBay listing. I guess he did not go in order, and it's pretty damned obvious that past the first dozen or so he ran out of steam. It's not a bad medallion, but it looks rushed and like a hack job. Also, for some reason the signature on the back of mine looks like it didn't agree with the paint or Model Magic because it's completely faded and blurry.

The presentation was a bit unexpected though, it was really carefully packed inside of a gift box that was labeled and everything, and the Certificate of Authenticity is laminated too. It looks like it's laminated manually with contact paper but still, that's pretty neat.

Color me mildly impressed. He actually finished a deadline! There's hope yet for our autistic hero. If he doesn't derp out and dox his customers, I might consider purchasing a Yawning Squirtle Medallion in the future. *yawn* Or maybe even a Mary Lee Walsh one. }:P

It's just that Chris never made a Yawning Squirtle medallion before. It's the Sonichus and Rosechus that he's most experienced with.

Although it looks a little crummy, I'm impressed by how extensive it is. I thought it'd just be the face, but he put the shell in there as well. I would've been interested to see his reaction when you requested it though. Do you think he grimaced and thought: "Well I need da Legos" or he's just forgotten it's such a favourite with the trolls?

Anyway, you're a genius for requesting it. I actually kind of want one myself now and previously I had absolutely no interested in getting anything Chris was selling.

My temptation to own one of these is strangely rising - it looks like he actually put some effort into them. Bravo, Mr. C. Even the Yawning Squirtle looks like it's worth owning, mostly as if I received that, I would have spent most of the morning pissing myself laughing, and that would be worth every penny.

For some odd reason, my brain really wanted to see 'Cotton pudding' on the list of materials, that's my only disappointment. I may have to specify that if I order.

The first Medallion looks fantastic, I have to admit and I laughed at the maintenance card. Now if only it would also tell us what to do when the knot opens up...

As for the Yawning Squirtle: Kudos for choosing that character, I hope we'll see more whacky side characters in the future.
But as for the medallion itself, I scrolled down, saw it, had to scroll back up so I didn't have to see it anymore, started to get a bit mad at the obvious rush job, scrolled back down and just brust out laughing. Goddamnit Chris. That medallion is just perfect. The fuckups just add to the charm.

But I fear the medallions he's made during the all-nighter are going to look messed up...

He's had to make multiples before and also made Rosechu and Black Sonichu. In all those instances he was the one wearing them so he probably put more effort into getting it right. They all also look similar.

Chris was also proud of the Sonic Totem so... yeah, it's hard to distinguish when he's being lazy or just has poor taste.

halloween is around the corner, what could be a scary decoration? now i want to order a sonic totem......

Chris makes promises and actually delivers, I like that. I think his sweetheart may be a good influence on him. First she made him apologize to gay dudes, now she's reminding him to keep his word and make his deadlines. He was right all along: all he needed to get his life back on track was to find love. :heart-full:

is the sonichu medallion glossy because he put some kind of fixative on it, or is that just how model magic is
